1.

GLASSHOUSE GREYHOUND SPORTING CLUB NOVICE 520M

Even start.  Shortly after the start WAZZA QUEEN, HAPPY MAIL and SMASHNIAK ICE all raced tight causing all greyhounds to lose ground.  In the 1st turn KYELLA shifted out colliding with REACTOR causing both greyhounds to run wide with SMASHNIAK ICE being checked as a result and lost ground.  Entering the back straight IZY MAGIC and KYELLA bumped causing both greyhounds to lose ground.

GATEWAY ELECTRICAL NOVICE 520M

Even start with ROY’S THE KING slow.  Shortly after the start PROPER GENT, DRAW THE WHIP and HAY HOPEY all raced tight and were hampered.  Approaching the 1st turn HAY HOPEY and ROY’S THE KING bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Leaving the 1st turn HAY HOPEY clipped heels, shifted out and collided with PHANTOM HOUDINI c

 

The greyhound HAY HOPEY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound ROY’S THE KING underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hock and was stood down for a period of 3 months.

APEX FACADES 5th GRADE 520M

Even start. Shortly after the start BIG TURLS and ACE GAMBLER raced tight causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Approaching the 1st turn HERACLES and RULE THE ROAD collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight  BIG TURLS and  ACE GAMBLER collided  causing both to greyhounds to lose ground.

 

The greyhound ICONIC BEACH underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards questioned trainer Mr Steven Scott about the greyhounds performance which he stated that the greyhound had had a wrist injury in prior months and that this was the first 520m race since, also stated that he was happy with the performance and the greyhound would benefit from the run.

TRADIES ON ROPES 5th GRADE 520M

Even start. Approaching the first turn BIG BAD BOB, BARCIA JEANES and DIRECT TERROR collided causing BIG BAD BOB and BARCIA JEANES  to lose ground. Entering the back straight DIRECT TERROR clipped heels, shifted out and checked BIG BAD BOB resulting in both to lose ground. Entering the front straight BIG BAD BOB and CAKE IT ON collided, DIRECT TERROR was checked as a result causing all greyhound to lose ground.

TRICORE TRADE SERVICES CUP 4/5th GRADE 600M

MINNIE MARTINI was  best to begin. In the 1st turn ZIPPING OLYMPIA, CHAMPAGNE SALLY and DONNY’S BEACH collided resulting all greyhounds to lose ground. Rounding the turn out of the front straight on the 1st occasion  CHAMPAGNE SALLY and ZIPPING OLYMPIA bumped and both lost ground. Leaving the back straight CHAMPAGNE SALLY and ZIPPING OLYMPIA raced tight  causing both greyhounds to lose ground. In the front straight ZIPPING OLYMPIA turned head inwards making muzzle contact with champagne sally.

 

Stewards advised trainer Mr. R Cooke that the greyhound ZIPPING OLYMPIA would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 600m all tracks.

 

The greyhound CHAMPAGNE SALLY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near side shoulder and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

CHRISTMAS STOCKING FINAL 5th GRADE 520M

Even start. Shortly after the start SMART MARLOW, TRUTH PREVAILS and JAY BAY  collided on numerous occasions resulting SMART MARLOW and TRUTH PREVAILS to lose ground. Approaching the 1st turn SMART MARLOW, TRUTH PREVAILS and ADHARA STEEL  raced tight causing SMART MARLOW and ADHARA STEEL to lose ground. Leaving the 1st turn SMART MARLOW and ADHARA STEEL bumped both hampered.

 

The greyhound TRUTH PREVAILS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind webbing and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

Even start. Approaching the 1st turn FAB DOOLEY and RICHMOND ROAD collided causing both greyhound to lose ground. Leaving the back straight CAPTAIN TIL and COSMO BILL  raced tight and where hampered. Entering the front straight COSMO BILL and RICHMOND ROAD  bumped

MIDDLE DISTANCE CHALLENGE FINAL 600M

Even start. 1st turn GELANTIPY GOLD and CYN’S MAGIC bumped and hampered. In the front straight on the first occasion MISS MINAJ and GELANTIPY GOLD collided and lost ground. In the home straight CYNDIE’S MAGIC, MAGIC HORNET and CYN’S MAGIC collided and lost ground.

 

The greyhound BROLLY BALE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 4th GRADE 520M

Even start. In the front straight on the first occasion BEC’S DIAMOND commenced to give ground in open running. Approaching the 1st turn KEALOAH was tightened for racing and lost ground. In the 1st turn COSMIC CYNDIE, SNUG and MOMENT TO SHINE all raced tight resulting in SNUG to lose ground. Leaving the 1st turn COSMO CYNDIE and SNUG collided resulting in SNUG to lose ground. Leaving the  back straight COSMO CYNDIE and ARDEN STREET bumped causing COSMO CYNDIE to lose ground.

 

The greyhound SNUG underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound BEC’S DIAMOND underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

Even start. Shortly after the start ROAD SCHOLAR, DAZE LIKE THESE and SHUNT MAN raced tight resulting in greyhounds to lose ground. Approaching the 1st turn ROAD SCHOLAR and SHUNT MAN collided causing SHUNT MAN  to lose ground. Entering the back straight HIPSTER clipped heels and lost ground. Leaving the back straight LOGAN CITY got on the hind quarters resulting in both to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the home straight CALL ME UGO clipped the heels of LOGAN CITY resulting in both greyhounds to lose ground. In the front straight LOGAN CITY and DAZE LIKE THESE bumped.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE 520M

Even start with INNER WISDOM slipping on the green mat resulting in INNER WISDOM to hampered. Shortly after the start CHEEKY CHANCE was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Approaching the 1st turn CHEEKY CHANCE and KLOMPUS collided and both lost ground. In the front straight INNER WISDOM, THURSDAY WISH and NOOREE DESSA collided  and all greyhounds hampered.
