4 Fluro Fella Checked off heels at the end of the front straight.  Checked at the turn after the back straight and lost ground.

2 Big Balloon Checked in the home straight on the 1st occasion and lost ground.  Severely checked at the first turn and lost ground.

 

3 Patricia's Lass Checked in the home straight on the 1st occasion and lost ground.  Dragged down from behind approaching the first turn became unbalanced and fell.  Taking no further part in the event

 

4 Slippery Worm Checked in the home straight on the 1st occasion and lost ground

 

6 Rosa's Memory Severely checked at the first turn and lost ground.

 

7 Steel Butterfly Checked when shifting in in the home straight on the 1st occasion.  Severely checked at the first turn and lost ground.

 

8 Miracle Ghost Improved on the heels of another runner approaching the first turn became unbalanced and fell taking no further part in the event.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent injuries.

Race 5 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MIXED M/5 2 600m

1 Elegant Ruby Checked at the winning post on the 1st occasion and lost ground. 

 

2 Fifty Fathoms Shifted out and ran wide in the home straight. Appeared to sustain an injury in the back straight and lost ground.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to be suffering from a near side wrist injury and was stood down 28 days.

 

4 Magic Miss Checked at the winning post on the 1st occasion and lost ground.  Checked in the back straight and lost ground.

 

6 Georgia Keeping Checked at the winning post on the 1st occasion and lost ground.

 

7 Hard Marker Checked in the back straight and lost ground.

4 In And Out Checked in the front straight and lost ground.  Checked in the home straight and lost ground.

2 Kick Ons Checked at the first turn and lost ground.  Checked in the back straight and lost ground.

 

4 Bella Mafia Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

 

5 Valdos Severely checked at the turn after the back straight and lost ground.

 

6 Romantic Verses Checked shortly after the start and lost ground.  Shifted in and hit the running rail at the first turn.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent injuries.

 

7 Fernando Blaze Checked shortly after the start and lost ground.

 

8 General Rose Checked shortly after the start and lost ground.  Checked in the back straight and lost ground.

 

 

Race 9 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NMW (3) 2 520m

 

1 Ebony Jay Clipped by another runner approaching the home straight and lost ground.

 

3 Sunburst Checked in the home straight and lost ground.

 

6 Now Or Never Checked in the front straight and lost ground.  Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

 

7 Buck The Bull Checked at the first turn and lost ground.  Improved on the heels of another runner approaching the home straight and lost ground.

 

8 Bella's Blessed Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

 

 

Race 10 - ORSON ALLEN @ STUD MIXED 3/4 2 395m

 

1 Guy Incognito Checked in the back straight and lost ground.

 

 

 

Race 11 - FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE GRADE 5 2 395m

 

1 Grand Audrey Slow to begin. Appeared to sustain an injury when racing in the clear at the end of the back straight and took no further part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to be suffering from an off side hock fracture and was given pain relief and placed in a Robert Jones bandage.  The greyhound was stood down from racing for 12 weeks.  The greyhound was transported  to North Lakes veterinary clinic for further assessment .  This matter will be referred to the greyhound racing injury review panel. 

 

2 Blue Worm Checked shortly after the start and lost ground.

 

3 Zipping Davina Checked shortly after the start and lost ground.  The greyhound was found to be suffering from a near side hip injury and stood down for 10 days.
