General: Trainer Reginald Hazelgrove was fined the sum of $100.00 pursuant to Greyhounds Australasia Rule 101(3)(b) upon the greyhound Hot Options weighing in at 29.8kg, being a variation of 1.5kg from the weight recorded in the greyhound’s most recent event, with the greyhound subsequently being scratched from Race 6 and stood down from racing for ten (10) days pursuant to Greyhounds Australasia Rule 101(3)(a).

8 Supreme Machine – Slow to begin. Stumbled momentarily rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its off hind back muscle and was stood down from racing for twenty-eight (28) days. The greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next.

9 Little Ripper (2) – Tightened for racing room and was checked rounding the first turn.

RACE 9 - GET IT GIZMO @ NEWHAVEN STUD MIXED 3/4 2 395M

3 So Forth – Checked across heels and raced wide in the back straight. Raced wide in the home straight.

4 Awesome Ability – Tightened for racing room, was severely checked and fell rounding the first turn. Trailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its near side chest muscle and was stood down from racing for ten (10) days.

1 Excellent Work – Shifted wide shortly after start. Trainer Bill Wormer advised the greyhound did not handle the track conditions and did not intend on racing the greyhound on similar tracks in the future. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
