Race Reports

 

Race 1 – PRIME REAL ESTATE MAIDEN – 460M

 

HAY CAROL was extremely slow to begin and took no competitive part in the race. CLEVER KALI was best to begin. Into the first turn SWEET CAMBLA raced wide. Exiting the second turn and down the home straight OUR CAMBLA BOY and CLEVER KALI raced wide.

 

A post race veterinary examination of HAY CAROL was conducted, finding the greyhound to have an RH sub lumbar muscle strain, 10 day stand down period was imposed.

 

Stewards spoke with Trainer P. Burges regarding his runner HAY CAROL’s performance. The greyhound was charged under GAR 71 (1) Unsatisfactory Performance. The greyhound must perform a satisfactory stewards trial before it is eligible to nominate.

 

Race 2 – RAY EDWARD REAL ESTATE NOVICE – 460M

 

Even start. Entering the first turn the field tightened with the exception of SOX THE FOX and KATHERINES MONEY, resulting in all greyhounds to be checked to varying degrees and causing NIKOLUCKY to fall and take no further competitive part in the race.

 

A post race veterinary examination of NIKOLUCKY was conducted, no injuries found. 

 

Race 3 – C.L.M ACCOUNTANTS HERVEY BAY 5TH GRADE (1) – 460M

 

Even start. Entering the second turn CAMBAL FLASH checked off the heels of WISSUTA RULES and lost ground. PAWTICIPATION and DOTTIE’S IMAGE raced wide down the home straight.

 

A post race veterinary examination of ZABDON VEYRON was conducted, finding the greyhound to have and LH pad abrasion. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  

 

Race 4 – UNCLE RUSTY’S PHOTOS 4TH GRADE – 460M

 

WILBEY AWESOME was marginally slow to begin. Entering the first turn NAUGHTY NALA and USURPER checked, as a result WILBY AWESOME was marginally hampered. Along the back straight NAUGHTY NALA faltered and lost ground.

 

 A post race veterinary examination of NAUGHTY NALA was conducted, no injurie found.

 

Race 5 – REALWAY PROPERTY CONSULTANTS RQ MAIDEN 1000 – 460M

 

KIEWA REBAL slow to begin. Entering the first turn TICA BOO BOO and RUCHMER ASSASSIAN checked. Entering the second turn TICA BOO BOO was tight for racing room and checked with CAMBLA BANJO and lost ground. Through the second turn RICHMER ASSASSION checked off the heels of BANJO DUEL. MISS EMMY raced wide down the home straight.

 

 

Race 6 – TERRY’S SIGNS 5TH GRADE (2) – 460M

 

FASHION FLIRT was best away with MADAM CAMBLA marginally slow. Entering the first turn GLEN CAMLBA, MADAM CAMBLA and ELLINGTON checked lightly. LAGOON SCARLET raced wide down the home straight.

 

Race 7 – GSL LAWYERS HERVEY BAY 5TH GRADE (3) – 460M

 

KIM OSTI was best away. Entering the first turn GALLLON OF CAMBLA, TINKIE’S MY MUM and STAR OF CAMBLA checked wide. STAR OF CAMBLA lost considerable ground and took no further competitive part in the race. GALLON OF CAMBLA raced wide down the home straight.

 

A post race veterinary examination of STAR OF CAMBLA was conducted, finding RH gracillis muscle tear. 28 day stand down period was imposed.

 

Race 8 – MARK HALTER MEMORIAL BEST 8 – 460M

 

Even start. Entering the first corner CAMBLA LALA, LORDE CERINE and ROPE A DOPE checked. HYPNOTISE EYES and NEDGO PRINCESS raced wide down the home straight.
