General:

Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races.

Race 1 – TAB MAIDEN 460m

1 Fish And Cripps – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Bumped with another runner on a number of occasions through the first turn.

 

2 Expat Mohawk – Marginally slow to begin.

 

3 Lumen Scar – Checked shortly after the start. Checked on a number of occasions through the first turn and lost ground.

 

7 Nabro – Raced wide through the turn into the front straight.

 

Race 2 – BARGARA BAKERY CAFÉ NOVICE 460m

1 Dr. Outlander – Checked entering the front straight. Significantly inconvenienced by another runner over the concluding stages of the event.

 

2 Boydtown Bandit – Bumped with another runner entering the first turn. Shortened stride leaving the first turn and took no further competitive part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the greyhound had cramped when racing and was stood down for a period of 7 days and will need to perform a satisfactory stewards trial before resuming racing.

 

4 Blue Emperor – Contacted from behind by another runner in the back straight and lost considerable ground. Hampered approaching the turn out of the back straight.

 

6 Cambla Samba Kid – Checked entering the front straight.

 

7 Isla Bale – Checked off heels entering the front straight. Deviated its attention towards another runner and made muzzle contact with that runner on a number of occasions over the concluding stages of the event. Subsequently was charged under GAR69(2a) (Marring 2nd offence) and was stood down from racing for a period of 3 months and will need to perform a satisfactory stewards trial before resuming racing.

 

Race 3 – CHIP TYRE RECYCLERS GRADE 5 (1) 460m

1 Dark Zorro – Marginally slow to begin. Checked off heels and lost ground leaving the first turn. Contacted from behind by another runner in the back straight and lost ground. Tightened for room and checked approaching the turn out of the back straight and lost substantial ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities.

 

3 Next Time Gadget – Checked entering the first turn.

 

4 Velocity Jacinta – Tightened for room and checked entering the first turn. Tightened for room and checked approaching the finish.

 

5 Light The Barbie – Checked entering the first turn.

 

6 Savannah Sun – Checked approaching the first turn. Tightened for room and checked on a number of occasions through the first turn and lost ground. 

 

7 Oriental Ollie – Checked approaching the first turn. Raced tight and bumped with another runner on multiple occasions through the first turn.

 

8 Soda Caesar – Checked approaching the first turn. Raced tight and bumped with another runner on multiple occasions through the first turn.

 

Race 4 – TERRY SIGNS MIXED 4/5 460m

1 Fly Mariposa – Checked leaving the first turn and lost ground. Checked approaching the finish.

 

10(2) Nanny’s Girl – Checked leaving the turn out of the back straight and lost ground.  

 

3 John's Last – Tightened for room then was checked entering the first turn.

 

4 Loves Me Not – Checked leaving the first turn and lost ground. Checked approaching the finish.

 

5 Courtois – Checked on a number of occasions entering the first turn and lost considerable ground.

 

6 No Mediocre – Hampered leaving the turn out of the back straight.

 

7 He's A Minstrel – Best to begin

 

8 Andover – Checked entering the first turn and lost ground. Raced wide in the back straight.

 

Race 5 – BUNDABERG GRAND PRIX HEAT 1 OPEN 550m

2 Go Emmy Go – Checked off heels entering the turn into the back straight and lost substantial ground.

 

3 Kiewa Rebel – Best to begin.

 

6 Prince Cosmic – Began very awkwardly and lost substantial ground as a consequence.

 

7 Fizz Out – Checked entering the first turn.

 

Race 6 – BUNDABERG GRAND PRIX HEAT 2 OPEN 550m

2 Naturally Gifted – Checked leaving the turn into the back straight and lost substantial ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a shoulder strain and was stood down from racing for a period of 7 days.

 

3 Dancing Ebby – Tightened for room and checked shortly after the start. Checked approaching the first turn and lost ground.

 

4 Regas – Hampered entering the front straight.

 

7 New Wave – Slow to begin.

 

Race 7 – BUNDABERG GRAND PRIX HEAT 3 OPEN 550m

2 Fernando Tears – Checked shortly after the start. Checked approaching the turn out of the back straight and lost considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities.

 

3 Mini Sox – Checked entering the first turn and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the off wrist and was stood down from racing for a period of 14 days.

 

4 Purdi Villa – Raced wide through the turn into the front straight.

 

Race 8 – ENDEAVOUR FOUNDATION MIXED 3/4 460m

 

The all clear for race 8 was delayed by approximately 5 minutes so stewards could review the footage of the event,

 

4 Glen Cambla – Checked on a number of occasions approaching the first turn. Checked off heels leaving the first turn and lost considerable ground. 

 

5 Highway Gem – Best to begin.

 

6 Ollie's Lad – Checked on a number of occasions approaching the first turn. Contacted from behind by another runner leaving the first turn and lost ground.

 

Race 9 – CRAFT RENTAL GRADE 5 (2) 460m

2 Takura Tornado – Collided into another runner entering the first turn. Checked off heels approaching the turn out of the back straight and lost considerable ground. Checked leaving the turn out of the back straight.

 

3 Angry Angus – Checked immediately after the start.

 

4 Farmor Watch It – Checked immediately after the start.

 

7 Jayville Torpedo – Checked entering the first turn. Checked leaving the turn out of the back straight.

 

Race 10 – UNCLE RUSTY'S PHOTOS MA5 460m

1 Sunburnt Road – Raced tight and checked with another runner on a number of occasions through the turn into the front straight.

 

2 Branwell Lee – Raced tight and checked with another runner on a number of occasions through the turn into the front straight.

 

4 Doreas – Checked approaching the turn into the back straight. Checked in the back straight.

 

5 Apollo's Warrior – Slow to begin.

 

6 Glamorous Pins – Tightened for room, checked and lost considerable ground approaching the turn out of the back straight.

 

7 Cambla Cruiser – Raced wide in the back straight.
