Race 1 – TAB MAIDEN 460m

 

1 Under Boardwalk – Slow to begin.

3 Zambora Chief – Checked approaching the turn off the front straight.

5 Lucky Pass – Slow to begin. Bumped other runners shortly after the start. Checked approaching the turn off the front straight. Checked and deviated its attention from the lure and marred the runner on its outside and forced it into the fence rounding the turn off the front straight. Stewards charged the greyhound with Marring 2nd offence, 3-month standdown at all tracks and perform a satisfactory stewards trial GAR 69(1)(2)(b)

7 Indiana Hayze – Slow to begin. Bumped another runner shortly after the start.

8 Hypo Duck – Slow to begin. Rounding the turn off the front straight was marred by another runner on its inside and forced wider and collided heavily with the gate at the catching pen. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside carpal sprain and bruising and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

 

Race 2 - ACE FABRICATIONS NOVICE 460m

 

1 Lady Swiss – Checked heavily on its heels and disadvantaged entering the turn off the front straight.

2 Fabulous Maiden – Bumped another runner shortly after the start. Checked across the heels of another runner and then checked the runner on its outside entering the turn off the front straight.

3 Shian Dawn – Bumped another runner shortly after the start. Checked and shifted wider entering the turn off the front straight.

4 Suite Nita

5 Reject Shopper – Towards the end of the back straight, momentarily slowed before accelerating again. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities, stewards charged the greyhound with an unsatisfactory performance and will need to perform a satisfactory stewards trial before returning to racing. GAR 71

6 Rocky Who – Slow to begin.

8 Signify – Checked heavily, lost its footing, and almost fell rounding the turn off the front straight. A post rave veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist and nearside pin muscle strain and stood down from racing for 14 days.

 

Race 3 - EAST END HOTEL BEST 8 460m

 

1 Little Ripper – Checked on its heels entering the turn off the back straight.

2 Fogelberg – Checked on the heels by another runner and forced to shift wider, colliding with other runners on the outside approaching the turn off the front straight. Disadvantaged by other runners rounding the turn off the front straight.

6 Savuro – Checked other runners shortly after the start. Checked across the heels of another runner and knocked off balance and collided with other runners approaching the turn off the front straight. Disadvantaged by another runner rounding the turn off the front straight.

8 Cosmic Colin – Checked off the heels of another runner entering the turn off the back straight.

 

Race 4 - BARGARA BAKERY GRADE 5 (1) 460m

 

1 Chase Man – Checked on the heels rounding the turn off the front straight.

3 Simple And Slow – Checked across the heels of another runner rounding the turn off the front straight.

4 Jackson's Estate – Checked shortly after the start.

5 Casual Beach – Checked shortly after the start. Disadvantaged entering the turn off the front straight. Shifted wider exiting the turn onto the front straight and in the front straight.

6 Burrum Boy – Checked shortly after the start.

 

Race 5 - GREAT NORTHERN GRADE 5 (2) 460m

 

1 Mamba Two Four -  Slow to begin.

2 Red Wombat – Checked another runner approaching the turn off the front straight.

3 Sceptre – Checked another runner approaching the turn off the front straight. Disadvantaged as it was entering the turn off the front straight. Checked rounding the turn off the front straight. Checked exiting the turn onto the back straight.

5 Sandy Bee – Checked on the heels entering the turn off the front straight. Checked across the heels of another runner entering the turn off the front straight.

6 Cribb Island Boy – Checked on its heels entering the turn off the front straight.

7 Sea Daddy – Slow to begin. Checked heavily off the heels of another runner exiting the turn onto the back straight and lost its footing and almost fell. A post-race veterinary examination found the dog had cramped after the conclusion of the race. Stewards spoke with trainer Mr Hazelgrove regarding the dogs actions in the closing stages of the race. & after reviewing the race review footage & discussion the stewards panel could not determine if it was before or after the finish line and the dog was given the benefit of the doubt.

8 Farmor Summers – Checked rounding the turn off the front straight. checked heavily on the heels by another runner exiting the turn onto the back straight. Following the race stewards spoke to the trainer regarding him boxing the dog out of sequence and subsequently found Mr Sarnadsky guilty of an offence of negligence and fined $100.00 GAR 86(0)

 

Race 6 - ENDEAVOUR FOUNDATION MIXED 4/5 460m

 

2 Lilly Street – Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners approaching the turn off the front straight.

3 No Easy Beat – Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners approaching the turn off the front straight. Checked entering the turn off the front straight. Checked in the back straight.

4 Dinah Shian – Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners approaching the turn off the front straight. checked entering the turn off the front straight.

5 Prince Duggie – Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners approaching the turn off the front straight. Shifted wider and checked rounding the turn off the front straight.

6 After All - Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners approaching the turn off the front straight. Dragged down by another runner rounding the turn off the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

7 Throw Strikes – Slow to begin. Shifted wider and checked another runner in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

8 Louisiana Flyer – Checked another rounding the turn off the front straight and collided heavily onto the hind quarters of another runner.

 

Race 7 - BUNDABERG OAKS FINAL OPEN 550m

 

2 Bro's Girl – Shifted wider approaching the turn off the front straight.

4 Talking Numbers – Slow to begin.

5 Ragin' Comet – Slow to begin. Shifted wider approaching the turn off the front straight.

6 Hooked On Xena – Slow to begin. Shifted wider and checked shortly after the start. Shifted wider approaching the turn off the front straight.

 

Race 8 - BUNDABERG DERBY FINAL OPEN 550m

 

5 On The Buses – Tightened for racing room and bumped another runner entering the turn off the front straight.

7 Black Rocker – Slow to begin. Tightened for racing room and bumped another runner entering the turn off the front straight.

8 Off Break – Slow to begin.

 

Race 9 - CHIP TYRE RECYCLERS GRADE 5 (3) 460m

 

2 She Knows Candy – Very slow to begin. Stewards found that the dog had turned in the starting boxes and was charged under rule GAR 52(1) and will need to perform a satisfactory stewards trial.

5 Peachy Went Bams – Tightened for racing room and bumped rounding the turn off the front straight.

6 Lumen Scar – Bumped shortly after the start.

7 Filthy Lucre – Bumped shortly after the start. Tightened for racing room and bumped rounding the turn off the front straight.

 

Race 10 - TERRY SIGNS MA5 460m

 

2 Fabthor – Tightened for racing room as it was approaching the turn off the front straight.

3 Cisco Sniper – Tightened for racing room approaching the turn off the front straight. Checked heavily onto the hind quarters of another runner and was severely disadvantaged rounding the turn off the front straight.

4 Maeve – Tightened for racing room as it was approaching the turn off the front straight. Checked off the heels of another runner entering the turn off the front straight. Collided with other runners rounding the turn off the front straight.

5 Farmor Watch Her – Tightened for racing room as it was approaching the turn off the front straight. Checked on the heels by another runner entering the turn off the front straight. Rounding the turn off the front straight was checked heavily on the hind quarters, dragged down, and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

6 Hombre Duck – Collided with other runners rounding the turn off the front straight.

7 Speedy Jack – Shifted very wide exiting the turn onto the front straight.
