Race 1 – TAB MAIDEN 460m

 

2 Ky's Dream, hampered coming around the home turn when another runner shifted out.

 

4 Vexing Victor, leaving the back straight lost considerable ground after another runner run into its hind legs, was sent for a post race veterinary examination and no injuries were found.

 

6 Young Tiger, bumped with another runner at the start, bumped with another runner approaching the first turn, shifted out coming around home turn hampering another runner.

 

8 White Bull, leaving the back straight run into the hind legs of another runner.

 

9 (5) Nana's Gift, bumped with another runner at the start, bumped with another runner approaching the first turn.

 

 

Race 2 - ACE FABRICATIONS NOVICE 460m

 

1 Zulu Allure, leaving the back straight lost ground after being squeezed between runners.

 

3 Papagayo Star, was checked heavily and lost considerable ground approaching the first turn, was sent for a post race veterinary examination and was found to have strained the pin muscle on both fore legs as a result was stood down from racing for 5 days.

 

4 Not Allowed, bumped with another runner at the start, going around the first turn shifted out and bumped another runner.

 

5 Under Boardwalk, bumped with another runner at the start, going around the first turn was squeezed between runners.

 

6 Jericho, leaving the back straight shifted in bumping another runner.

 

7 Air Supply, approaching the first turn was checked when another runner shifted out.

 

8 Militant Cloud, approaching the first turn was checked when another runner shifted out.

 

 

 

 

Race 3 - EAST END HOTEL BEST 8 460m

 

2 Easy Eddie, in the back straight checked out off heels.

 

4 Cambla Doll, bumped with another runner on two occasions coming around the home turn.

 

5 Savuro, in the back straight checked out off heels, bumped with another runner on two occasions coming around the home turn.

 

 

Race 4 - BARGARA BAKERY FFA 550m

 

1 Talking Numbers, bumped with another runner in the home straight the first time.

 

2 Winlock Bluey, was inspected by the veterinary surgeon prior to entering the kennels and no injuries were found. Bumped with another runner in the home straight the first time, was hampered leaving the back straight.

 

4 Unencumbered, in the back straight commenced to lose ground and drop back, was sent for a post race veterinary examination and was found to have strained the pin muscle on both fore legs and also had a neck muscle strain as a result was stood down from racing for 7 days.

 

6 Willem Powerfish, slow into stride and raced wide for the majority.

 

8 Rosebud Smile, slow away.

 

 

Race 5 - GREAT NORTHERN MIXED 4/5 460m

 

1 Gerry's Lara, going around the first turn shifted out and checked another runner, coming around the home turn checked out off heels. Was sent for a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right wrist as a result was stood down from racing for 5 days.

 

4 Murdoch Keeping, was bumped shortly the start by another runner, commenced to lose ground shortly after, finished the race well back. Was sent for a post race veterinary examination and was found to suffering from a suspected broken hock on the near hind. Was given immediate pain relief and the leg was strapped for support. Was stood down from racing for 84 days and must pass veterinary clearance trial before racing again. This incident will be referred to the serious injury committee. Trainer Ken Boody advised he was taking Murdoch Keeping to his veterinary surgeon for further treatment. Trainer Ken Boody was advised stewards would follow up with him the following day.

 

5 Next Stop, shifted out off heels entering the home straight.

 

6 Filthy Lucre, bumped another runner shortly after the start and was checked going around the first turn.

 

7 Viva Belle, shifted out sharply coming around the home turn.

 

8 Zambora Chief, raced wide throughout.

 

 

Race 6 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 460m

 

2 Ben Major, shortly after the start was squeezed between runners.

 

3 Jet Burner, shifted in shortly after the start bumping another runner.

 

5 All Genres, checked and lost ground leaving the back straight.

 

6 Blackpool Coco, slow to begin and raced wide for the majority.

 

 

Race 7 - QLD BRED 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 460m

 

3 Durham, bumped with another runner on the first turn.

 

4 Pebble's Girl, slow to begin and shifted in shortly after the start. Checked off heels in the back straight.

 

6 Double Tiara, bumped with another runner on the first turn.

 

7 Stand By Me, raced wide throughout.

 

8 Where's Dean, checked and lost ground going around the first turn.

 

 

Race 8 - QLD BRED 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 460m

 

1 Fluro Girl, approaching the first turn shifted out bumping another runner out wide. Race wide for the majority.

 

2 Mystery Duck, shortly after the start shifted out and bumped heavily with another runner.

 

3 Mali's Millions, commenced to lose ground and drop out leaving the back straight, finished the race well back and was sent for a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right wrist as a result was stood down from racing for 7 days.

 

4 Deadly Choice, approaching the first turn was checked heavily and lost considerable ground. Approaching the back straight bumped with another runner.

 

5 Slick Velvet, slow to begin.

 

7 She's Just Magic, approaching the first turn was checked heavily and lost considerable ground. Approaching the back straight bumped with another runner.

 

8 Zambora Princess, approaching the first turn was checked heavily and lost ground.

 

 

Race 9 - ENDEAVOUR FOUNDATION MA5 460m

 

2 Three Sore Feet, slow into stride and raced wide around the home turn.

 

5 Midnight Million, slow into stride and was pushed wide going around the first turn.

 

6 Key Key, going around the first turn checked off heels.
