Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN 460m

 

1 Take Note – Checked approaching the turn off the front straight. Checked onto hind quarters of another runner in the back straight, losing ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside pin muscle strain and stood down for 7 days.

 

3 Our Satin Rose – Slow to begin. Checked and hampered several times by another runner in the front straight

 

6 Foxy One – Checked approaching the turn off the front straight, Forced wider in the back straight. . Dragged down in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

7 Fernando Law – Shifted its attention from the lure towards the runner on the outside and continued to hamper the other runner in the front straight. Stewards charged the greyhound with Fail to pursue 2nd offence GAR 69(a)(1) and is stood down for 3 months at all tracks and perform a satisfactory trial

 

 

Race 2 - ACE FABRICATIONS NOVICE 460m

 

1 Amenadiel's Lad – Slow to begin.

 

2 Militant Cloud – Checked entering the turn off the front straight. Disadvantaged approaching the exit onto the front straight.

 

3 He's Got Gossip – Checked entering the turn off the front straight.

 

4 Dr. Kammi – Slow to begin.

 

 

Race 3 - EAST END HOTEL GRADE 5 (1) 460m

 

Stewards ordered the lure to be shut down during the race and declared the event a No Race after a fallen runner  started running back towards the field.

 

4 Filthy Lucre – Bumped approaching the turn off the front straight. Checked and dragged down and fell heavily approaching the exit onto the back straight. The greyhound then started running in the wrong direction towards the field, causing stewards to order the lure to be shut down. A veterinary examination found an offside hind hip support strain and stood down from racing for 10 days.

 

7 High Suite – Checked onto the hind quarters of another runner and disadvantaged approaching the exit onto the back straight.

 

 

Race 4 - BARGARA BAKERY GRADE 5 (2) 460m

 

1 Crazy Duck – Bumped approaching the turn off the front straight.

 

2 Beers With Geoff – Bumped approaching the turn off the front straight. Checked entering the turn off the front straight.

 

3 Not Allowed – Slow to begin.

 

4 Little Shelly – Checked on heels entering the turn off the back straight.

 

6 Dr. Perry – Checked entering the turn off the front straight. checked across the heels of another runner entering the turn off the back straight.

 

7 Sunburnt Diablo – Checked approaching the turn off the front straight.

 

 

Race 5 - GREAT NORTHERN MIXED 3/4 460m

 

2 Louisiana Flyer – Checked shortly after the start.

 

3 Wildash Macie – Checked shortly after the start.

 

4 Fluro Girl – Checked shortly after the start.

 

6 Bailey – Tightened for racing room approaching the turn off the front straight. Shifted very wide in the front straight.

 

7 Highway Gem – Slow to begin. Disadvantaged entering the turn off the front straight.

 

8 Unencumbered – Tightened for racing room and lost its footing approaching the turn off the front straight.

 

 

Race 6 - QLD BRED 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 550m

 

2 Fluro Man – Shifted wider and checked shortly after the start.

 

3 He's Nosey – Checked shortly after the start.

 

6 Easy Eddie – Checked across the heels of another runner Approaching the turn off the back straight.

 

7 Wilma's Shadow – Tightened for racing room and disadvantaged in the back straight. Before the race stewards discovered that the handler N.Mulcahy had placed the incorrect rug on the greyhound and advised that the trainer would be fined.

 

 

Race 7 - QLD BRED 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 550m

 

1 Double Steel – Checked and forced wider, colliding with runner on its outside and almost made contact with the outside fence entering the turn off the front straight. A veterinary examination revealed an offside shoulder strain and stood down from racing for 7 days.

 

2 Zambora Chief – Checked approaching the turn off the front straight.

 

4 Scriven – Checked with another runner then collided with runner on its outside approaching the turn off the front straight.

 

6 Double Tiara – Forced wider and made light contact with the outside fence entering the turn off the front straight. A veterinary examination found no abnormalities.

 

 

Race 8 - ENDEAVOUR FOUNDATION OPEN FINAL OPEN 460m

 

5 Not Scared – Bumped shortly after the start.

 

6 Wildash Trapper – Bumped shortly after the start.

 

7 Sandy Bee – Slow to begin.

 

 

Race 9 - TERRY SIGNS GRADE 5 (3) 460m

 

1 Velocity Justice – Checked and forced wider approaching the exit onto the front straight.

 

2 Jet Burner – Checked and forced wider approaching the exit onto the front straight.

 

4 Noise Works – Checked approaching the exit onto the front straight.

 

7 Tiffany Twisted – Slow to begin.

 

8 Peachy Went Bams – Shifted awkwardly entering the turn off the front straight. began to yield ground in the back straight. A veterinary examination revealed an offside carpal sprain and stood down from racing for 10 days.

 

 

Race 10 - SKY RACING MA5 460m

 

1 Speedy Jack – Checked entering the turn off the front straight. Shifted in towards running rail and collided with another runner in the front straight.

 

3 Ragin' Comet – Slow to begin.

 

4 Pact – Tightened for racing room and bumped entering the turn off the front straight. Slightly shortened stride and gave slight ground approaching the exit onto the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a neck strain and stood down from racing for 7 days.

 

5 Key Key – Leading the field & shortened stride losing considerable ground entering the turn off the back straight, before accelerating again in the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside carpal sprain and stood down from racing  for 7 days. Stewards spoke with trainer T.Parry and charged the greyhound with Fail to pursue injury 1st offence GAR 69(b)(1) and is stood down for 7 days and perform a satisfactory trial.

 

6 Won't Win Larson – Slow to begin. Shifted very wide in the front straight.

 

7 She's Hot Gossip – Checked approaching the exit onto the back straight.

 

8 Wildash Dancer – Checked entering the turn off the front straight. Checked approaching the exit onto the back straight. Collided with another runner and fell heavily in the front straight and made contact with the running rail. A veterinary examination revealed offside hip & shoulder bruising and stood down from racing for 7 days.
