General: Race 2 was declared a No Race following a fallen runner running back towards the field.

Race 1 - SKY RACING MAIDEN 460m

 

1 Gin And Vodka – Slow to begin. Tightened for racing room rounding the turn off the back straight.

 

2 Bay Rhodes – Slow to begin. Tightened for racing room rounding the turn off the back straight.

 

6 Wildash Ruby – Shifted wider in the back straight.

 

7 Diva Redeemer – Checked approaching the turn off the front straight.

 

8 Neil's Trick – Checked approaching the turn off the front straight.  Checked entering the turn off the front straight.

 

9 Just Hot Gossip (4) – Checked approaching the turn off the front straight.  Checked entering the turn off the front straight.

 

 

Race 2 - EAST END HOTEL NOVICE (1) 460m

 

·       Following a fallen runner who after recovering started to run in the opposite direction back towards the field.  Stewards ordered that the lure be stopped and declared the event a no race.

 

2 Ky's Dream – Tightened for racing room entering the turn off the front straight.

 

3 Judy Moo Moo – Tightened for racing room and checked entering the turn off the front straight.

 

4 Stand Back – Disadvantaged by fallen runner rounding the turn off the front straight.

 

6 Weaver's Cut – Tightened for racing room and checked rounding the turn off the front straight.

 

7 Mum Tells Me – Tightened for racing room, checked, and fell rounding the turn off the front straight. after recovering from the fall began running in the opposite direction back towards the field. Stewards ordered for the lure to be shut down and declared a No Race.  A veterinary examination revealed nearside shoulder bruising and stood down for 5 days.

 

 

Race 3 - BARGARA BAKERY NOVICE (2) 460m

 

1 Whiskey Diva – Slow to begin.  Checked across the heels by another runner rounding the turn off the front straight.  Checked exiting the turn onto the front straight.

 

2 Shimmering Satin – When exiting the turn onto the front straight and in the front straight deviated its attention from the lure to a runner on the outside several times without making muzzle contact, stewards spoke with the trainer L.Kent and charged the greyhound with Fail To Pursue 1st offence and stood down for 28 days and a stewards trial GAR 69(a)

 

3 Mister Key – Checked off the heels of another runner entering the turn off the front straight.

 

4 Hotshot Bear – Handler struggled to box the greyhound prior to the start, stewards spoke with the trainer Mr J. White and admitted the greyhound had never played up before, however it was the first time the handler Miss B.Terry had boxed the greyhound. Mr White was advised the stewards would watch the greyhound next time it was boxed and spoke with the handler & starter regarding boxing protocols.

 

7 Add To Cart – Disadvantaged rounding the turn off the front straight.  Shifted wider rounding the turn off the back straight.

 

 

Race 4 - ENDEAVOUR FOUNDATION 5PW 460m

 

2 Highway Gem – Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners to varying degrees entering the turn off the front straight.

 

3 Summer Cash – Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners to varying degrees entering the turn off the front straight.

 

5 Zambora Princess – Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners to varying degrees entering the turn off the front straight.

 

6 Queen Norma – Checked shortly after the start.  Disadvantaged rounding the turn off the front straight.

 

7 Sunburnt Diablo – Checked shortly after the start. Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners to varying degrees entering the turn off the front straight.  Checked rounding the turn off the front straight.

 

8 Disney Cool – Checked rounding the turn off the front straight.

 

 

Race 5 - UNCLE RUSTY'S PHOTOS MIXED 4/5 460m

 

4 Pink Flyer – Slow to begin.  Checked entering the turn off the front straight.

 

6 Stand By Me – Tightened for racing room and checked shortly after the start.  Checked across the heels of another runner and shifted wider in the back straight. Disadvantaged approaching the exit onto the front straight.

 

7 Rebel Return – Tightened for racing room and checked shortly after the start.  Forced wider in the back straight.

 

9 In No Rush (5) – Tightened for racing room and checked shortly after the start.  Tightened for racing room and hampered rounding the turn off the front straight.

 

 

Race 6 - TERRY SIGNS GRADE 5 (1) 460m

 

3 Signify – Slow to begin.

 

4 Glittering Ace – Slow to begin,  Tightened for racing room, bumped, and disadvantaged entering the turn off the front straight.  Shifted wider and checked exiting the turn onto the front straight.

 

6 Compton Tess – Tightened for racing room and bumped entering the turn off the front straight.  shifted very wide in the front straight.  Stewards spoke with the trainer Mr R. Brook about the dogs performance and noted that it was the greyhounds first time running on the Bundaberg track.

 

8 Spitfire Speed – Tightened for racing room and bumped entering the turn off the front straight.  Checked exiting the turn onto the front straight.

 

 

Race 7 - TAB BEST 8 460m

 

1 Cambla Doll – Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners to varying degrees approaching the turn off the front straight.

 

2 Fluro Girl – Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners to varying degrees approaching the turn off the front straight.  Began to lose ground rounding the turn off the front straight. A veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the nearside front webbing and stood down for 21 days.

 

4 Kotiro Koura – Slow to begin.  Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners to varying degrees approaching the turn off the front straight.  Checked entering the turn off the front straight.  Shifted wider and checked in the front straight.

 

6 Jericho – Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners to varying degrees approaching the turn off the front straight.  Checked and lost footing entering the turn off the front straight.

 

7 Roulette – Slow to begin. Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners to varying degrees approaching the turn off the front straight.

 

 

Race 8 - ACE FABRICATIONS GRADE 5 550m

 

1 Not Scared – Shifted wider approaching the exit onto the front straight.

 

4 Tiffany Twisted – Bumped shortly after the start.

 

5 Katara Love – Bumped shortly after the start.  Forced wider approaching the exit onto the front straight.

 

 

Race 9 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 (2) 460m

 

1 Sassy Elle – Checked entering the turn off the front straight.  Checked and forced wider approaching the exit onto the front straight.  Checked in the front straight.

 

2 Spring Dani – Checked entering the turn off the front straight.

 

3 Go Romeo – Bumped shortly after the start.

 

4 Train Station – Bumped shortly after the start.  Checked entering the turn off the front straight.  Shifted wider and checked losing ground approaching the exit onto the front straight.  A veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

7 Willow Returns – Checked in the front straight.

 

8 Not Allowed – Checked entering the turn off the front straight.

 

 

Race 10 - TAB MA5 460m

 

1 Benissimo – Checked in the back straight.

 

2 She's Hot Gossip – Checked approaching the turn off the front straight.

 

5 Ragin' Comet – Slow to begin.

 

7 Buck The Bull – Checked in the back straight.

 

8 Ready To Rubble – Fell after the finish line.  A veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
