General:
· Stewards convened an inquiry into the alleged Raceday treatment of Barry’s Boy, Cardi Rocks, Hansen’s Boy and Why Harmony , which were presented to compete in events at today’s meeting by trainer Stephen Bland. After hearing evidence from Mr Bland and QRIC casual steward John Doss, Stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that Barry’s Boy, Cardi Rocks, Hansen’s Boy and Why Harmony had not been treated in contravention of the rules of racing and Stewards therefore ordered that the greyhounds be withdrawn from their respective events pursuant to GAR 145 (1)(2)(4)(E) Samples were taken for analysis. Stewards adjourned the inquiry to a date to be fixed
