Race 1 – ONETHECLOCK FOR TRIALS | MAIDEN | 366m
STELLAR STAR was marginally slow to begin. At the start ALPHA SOMETHING and ONE TIME PLEASE bumped. Shortly after the start, RILEY ROO shifted inwards, contacting the hindquarters of ONE TIME PLEASE, and colliding with ALPHA SOMETHING resulting in those runners to be checked and lose ground. Shortly after this incident, ONE TIME PLEASE shifted outwards, resulting in TESS BONUS to check off that runners’ heels, shift inwards and collide with RILEY ROO, which was taken in onto ALPHA SOMETHING resulting in those runners to be checked. NEVER, which was trailing, shifted to the outwards to avoid those runners heels. Approaching the 200m, BROOKLYN MISS shifted inwards and lost ground. Over the concluding stages of the event, ALPHA SOMETHING and STELLAR STAR bumped and lost ground.
Race 2 – KEYBOW @ STUD | MAIDEN | 366m
NOIRE DREAM was marginally slow to begin. At the start JEZEBEL’S JEWEL, RUMBLE MASTER and SMELL CHEESE all bumped. From the 300m to near the 200m, RUMBLE MASTER, SMELL THE CHEESE and REBEL SPIKE bumped on several occasions and lost ground. JEZEBEL’S JEWEL and BULLSEYE ARROW which were trailing, checked off those runners’ heels and shifted outwards. Near the 100m SMELL CHEESE shifted inwards, improving onto the heels of RUMBLE MASTER resulting in that runner to be hampered.
Race 3 – ADOPT A GREYHOUND | NOVICE | 366m
At the start, POWDER was bumped by another runner and was very slow to begin. Also at the start, COOL WOMAN was buffeted between runners and slow to begin. Shortly after the start, POWDER commenced to give ground and finish tailed off. Also shortly after the start, WALTZING BANJO was bumped by another runner and lost ground. Leaving the 300m, WALTZING BANJO shifted inwards, bumping another runner, and then shifted outwards, bumping another runner, and lost considerable ground. WILD MAN, which was trailing, shifted inwards across WALTZING BANJOS heels and lost ground. Leaving the 200m, WALTZING BANJO and BLACK LEX BONUS bumped on several occasions and lost ground.
WALTZING BANJO underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no abnormalities were found.
POWDER underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the Off Hind Back Muscle and stood down for a period of 14 days.
Race 4 – BUYABALE.COM.AU | MA5 | 366m
GUNNA WINK was marginally slow to begin. At the start, BELLA CETTE and VENOM STRIKES collided resulting in both runners to be checked. Approaching the 200m, VENOM STRIKES checked off the heels of WINGS OF PERLITA, which had shifted outwards. Near the 150m, WINGS OF PERLITA checked off the heels of DODGY DIAMONDS, which had shifted inwards. At the same time, DYNAMITE DOZER shifted inwards and bumped VENOM STRIKES, resulting in both runners to be momentarily hampered. Over the concluding stages, WINGS OF PERLITA bumped with another runner, was checked and lost considerable ground.
Race 5 – QGBOTA FOUNDING MEMBER | GRADE 4 | 366m
FARMOR IN TUNE began awkwardly. At the start ALL ABOUT TIGER, INFRARED STAR and FARMOR IN TUNE all collided and lost ground. Near the 300m, HARA’S FLAME sustained an injury and took no further competitive part in the event. Leaving the 200m MAGIC HORNET and BIG BAD BOB checked off heels.
HARA’S FLAME underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the stomach muscles and was stood down for a period of 21 days.
Race 6 – CORNERSTONE RISK | GRADE 5 | 366m
JAYCEE’S LADY and KYARNA began awkwardly and were slow to begin. INDIVIDUAL RICHY was marginally slow to begin. Near the 250m, BROKEN LOOSE and INDIVIDUAL RICHY bumped. Near the 100m, MIND YA BUSINESS bumped with another runner, shifted inwards and checked off the heels of another runner. Over the concluding stages, INDIVIDUAL RICHY checked off heels.
Race 7 – JEFFERY JONES CELEBRATION OF LIFE | OPEN | 366m
Shortly after the start I’M A HOTSHOT and CARBROOK LAD were buffeted between runners and severely checked. Also, THANKING PETER bumped with another runner and lost ground.
Race 8 – SHANE MURPHY PAINTING | GRADE 5 | 366m
TAIL WAG was declared a late scratching at 7:35am when found to have sustained an injury to the Left Hind Toe. A veterinary certificate was provided and a 10 day stand period imposed.
WEEONA JIMMY began awkwardly. Shortly after the start, HARA’S SHADOW and LAUGHING GEAR collided and were checked. Near the 300m, HARA’S SHADOW and IRISH RIPPLE bumped. Shortly after, LAUGHING GEAR shifted inwards resulting in IRISH RIPPLE, HARA’S SHADOW and CHROME RUN to check off that runners heels. Over the concluding stages of the event, HARA’S SHADOW and WEEONA JIMMY bumped.
Race 9 – QGBOTA HONOURS JEFF JONES | GRADE 5 | 366m
KENATAY was declared a late scratching at 9.02am when weighing in excess of the permitted 2kg allowance (+2.6kg). Trainer C. Chandler was fined the sum of $50 under GAR.39.
COUNTRY GRENADE began awkwardly. Shortly after the start DAM SLIPPERY shifted outwards and tightened the running of HAY HONEY and TOP SCORE resulting in those runners to be checked and lose ground. Near the 150m INFRARED LAD checked off heels. Over the concluding stages, INFRARED LAD checked off heels.
Race 10 – QGBOTA PAST PRESIDENT | MA5 | 366m
Shortly after the start, AERIAL DYNAMITE and CHASING DOLLARS bumped. Approaching the 200m, GIFTED PINES shifted outwards abruptly and lost ground. Leaving the 100m, CHASING DOLLARS checked off heels. Over the concluding stages AERIAL DYNAMITE checked off the heels of CASEY WHISPER, which had shifted inwards, and shifted outwards resulting in CHASING DOLLARS to be checked.
