Race 1 - WAYNE HARRIS MAIDEN 366m

1 Winding Road – Slow to begin. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injuries. Stewards questioned trainer Mr Neville Tonks in relation to the greyhound’s performance which he stated that the greyhound had run to its trial times and intends to retire the greyhound to GAP.  Charged under GAR71 unsatisfactory performance and will be required to complete one satisfactory trial if the greyhound does return to racing.

2 Cawbourne Shelly – Shifted out shortly after the start and bumped numerous times with another runner becoming momentarily unbalanced and lost ground. Shifted out approaching the 200m.

3 Black Shimmer – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Checked off the heels of another runner and lost ground approaching the 200m.

4 Samona – Marginally slow to begin and collided several times with another runner shortly after the start becoming momentarily unbalanced. Tightened for racing room approaching the 200m.

6 Celtic Ripple – Shifted in shortly after the start and collided with another runner and lost ground.

7 Hear The Bells – Bumped on the hind quarters by another runner shortly after the start and became unbalanced.

Race 2 - CORNERSTONE RISK MANAGEMENT MA5 366m

1 Duke's Rocket – Shifted in approaching the 200m. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the off fore armpit and was stood down for 21 days. The greyhound was administered pain relief by the race day veterinarian and advised to be taken to a private practice to undergo further treatment. As a result, no post-race swab was taken.  After race 5, Mr Terry Priest advised stewards that after seeking further veterinary treatment the greyhound would undergo surgery later today.

2 Richo – Slow to begin.

8 Under Shot Mail – After an incident in the catching pen, stewards advised trainer Mr Barry Taylor that an aggression muzzle and two catchers will be mandatory for this greyhound in all future race starts.

Race 3 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS NPW 366m

4 Augusta Miss – Slow to begin. Shifted in shortly after the start. Collided with another runner leaving the 100m and lost ground.

5 Bonnie's Black – Shifted out shortly after the start.

6 Go Romeo – Bumped with another runner approaching the 200m. Shifted out leaving the 200m.

7 Alpha Calypso – Shifted in shortly after the start and bumped with another runner and became momentarily unbalanced.

8 Human Touch – Checked off the heels of another runner leaving the 200m. Shifted in approaching the 100m and collided with another runner.

Race 4 - DR JOHN MURRAY NOVICE 366m

1 Alpha Shark – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Shifted out abruptly approaching the 200m and collided with another runner becoming momentarily unbalanced.

2 Where's Dean – Collided with another runner shortly after the start. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the 200m and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the nearside hip support and was stood down for 10 days.

3 Lorcan Lad – Clipped on the heels by another runner approaching the 100m and became momentarily unbalanced.

4 Hara's Fern – Slow to begin.

6 Wilma's Shadow – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the 200m.

Race 5 - SYD NORRIS GRADE 5 (1) 366m

2 Another Reach – Shifted out shortly after the start. Tightened for racing room approaching the 200m and was checked and lost ground.

3 Tipping – Collided with another runner approaching the 200m and became momentarily unbalanced and lost ground. Shifted in approaching the 200m and bumped with another runner.

6 Detention – Checked approaching the 200m and lost ground. Checked off the heels of another runner leaving the 200m and became momentarily unbalanced.

7 Jimmy The Fox – Shifted in approaching the 100m. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the offside hind foot and was stood down for 10 days.

8 Tweed Major - Bumped with another runner approaching the 200m.

Race 6 - ALEC STEVENS GRADE 5 366m

1 Special Quality – Shifted out shortly after the start.

2 Laguna Colorada – Slow to begin. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the nearside wrist and was stood down for 10 days.

4 Somerset Jewel – Shifted out approaching the 100m and bumped with another runner.

6 My Dark Lorian – Slow to begin.

8 Pinkowski – Shifted in approaching the 200m.

Race 7 - KEYBOW @ STUD MIXED 4/5 366m

1 Bogie Fury – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start and was checked. Shifted in leaving the 100m and collided with another runner and became momentarily unbalanced and lost considerable ground.

2 Bench Mob – Slow to begin. Shifted out shortly after the start and collided with another runner and lost ground.

3 Pepe Le Fleur – Bumped with another runner approaching the 200m. Shifted out leaving the 100m and was galloped on by another runner resulting in the greyhound being severely checked and losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injuries.

4 Bold Character – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the 200m. Collided with another runner leaving the 100m and lost ground.

6 Frog's Hollow – Shifted in shortly after the start and clipped the heels of another runner becoming momentarily unbalanced.

Race 8 - WYNNUM HAULAGE BEST 8 366m

3 Magical Bill – Very slow to begin. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injuries.

6 Raised By Wolves – Slow to begin. Shifted in shortly after the start.

Race 9 - SHANE MURPHY PAINTING GRADE 5 (2) 366m

2 Mr. Eddie – Slow to begin. Shifted out approaching the 200m bumping with another runner.

4 Alpha Ruler – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the 200m and lost ground.

5 Leeroy Rhapsody – Bumped with another runner numerous times approaching the 200m and became momentarily unbalanced.

6 Cuffs – Shifted in approaching the 200m and bumped with another runner numerous times.

8 Shian Huey – Marginally slow to begin. Shifted in leaving the 200m and collided with another runner becoming momentarily unbalanced.
