Race 1 - JOHN MURRAY DAY 17.7.22 MAIDEN 366m

1 Yuri Magi - Late Scratching weight variation @11:26am. Trainer Steven Boody was fined $100 under GAR 101(3)(b).

7 Thriller Strike – Shortly after the start was tightened and severely checked. From the 150m til the finish was hampered on several occasions. A post-race veterinary examination revealed and injury to its nearside hind leg and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

8 Blueberry Jam – Passing the 250m checked across heels. From the 150m til the finish hampered the running of another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Bill Wormer regarding the greyhound’s racing manners over the final 150m, after reviewing the video replay and the submissions from Mr Wormer, Stewards invoked GAR 124(1) Failing to purse. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Blueberry Jam was suspended from racing at Capalaba for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

10 (4) Greysynd Hero – Shortly after the start was inconvenienced.

Race 2 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 366m

5 Crown Of Rock – Slow to begin, approaching the 100m checked across heels.

Race 3 - WYNNUM HAULAGE NOVICE 366m

2 Glenreagh Spud – At the 50m was bumped heavily.

5 What A Mistake – Shortly after the start was tightened.

6 Wild Mister – Shortly after the start was tightened, passing the 100m was inconvenienced.

7 Daysea's Rikki – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race, passing the 100m was inconvenienced, near the finish was tightened.

8 Polly's Jester – Passing the 100m was tightened.

Race 4 - TREVOR MCSHERRY CLASSIC GRADE 4 366m

Race 5 - BILLY HARRIS HEAT 1 GRADE 5 366m

4 Thornbird – Shortly after the start was bumped heavily and checked.

5 Louder – Shortly after the start shifted in abruptly colliding with another runner.

10 Patchwork Nate – Shortly after the start was inconvenienced.

Race 6 - BILLY HARRIS HEAT 2 GRADE 5 366m

2 Give Me Donuts – Shortly after the start was collided heavily with another runner falling as a result and taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside ribs and was stood down from racing 7 days

3 Misuzulu – At the 250m improved onto heels.

4 Arkansas Red – Slow to begin.

5 Black Idol – Passing the 200m checked across heels

6 Lomachenko – At the 150m checked across heels.

Race 7 - BILLY HARRIS HEAT 3 GRADE 5 366m

1 Protagonist

2 Brooklyn Ripple

3 Cyclone Rinaldo – Began awkwardly, a short distance later was checked, from the 200m until 100m bumped with another runner on several occasions. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

4 Mauritian Pogba – Shortly after the start was checked, passing the 200m was inconvenienced, then bumped with another runner until the 100m.

5 Rockstar Cooper – Shortly after the start was inconvenienced, passing the 200m improved onto heels and was checked.

Race 8 - SENTENCED AT STUD MIXED 2/3 366m

3 Black Comanche – Inconvenienced in the early stages of the event.

4 Whiskey Business – Shortly after the start was tightened.

5 Miracle Ghost – Shortly after the start was tightened.

6 Point To Point – Shortly after the start was tightened.

7 Hellacious – Passing the 100m shifted across heels.

Race 9 - BILLY HARRIS HEAT 4 GRADE 5 366m

3 Cool Hand Rick – At the 150m was tightened between runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside hind webbing and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

4 Poker Alice – At the 150m was tightened between runners

5 Corowa Tiger – Approaching the 200m checked across heels.

8 Latrell – Approaching the finish look awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed to greyhound to have sustained a cramp and was stood down from racing for 10 days and must complete a steward’s trial prior to racing next but only once the injury stand down has expired.

Race 10 - BILLY HARRIS HEAT 5 GRADE 5 366m

2 Biscuit Roller – Slow to begin, at the 300m improved onto heels and was checked, over the concluding stages shifted abruptly across the track.

4 Kingsbrae Wobbie – Slow to begin.

9 (3) Daysea's Trudie – At the 300m was galloped on and checked.

Race 11 - BILLY HARRIS HEAT 6 GRADE 5 366m

3 On The Bayou – Approaching the 300m was inconvenienced.

6 Calla Avatar – Approaching the 300m was checked.

7 Miss Mel – Passing the 200m checked across heels.

Race 12 - SHANE MURPHY MA5 366m

1 Second Solution – Passing the 150m checked across heels

5 Craig's Regret – Shortly after the start was checked, near the finish checked across heels.

6 Sticker Sparkles – Shortly after the start was checked, passing the 150m was inconvenienced.
