Race 1 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MAIDEN 366m

 

3 Jay Fry – Turned it’s head inwards towards another runner soon after the start.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.  Steward’s spoke to trainer Chris Brydon regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to pursue (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Capalaba and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

Race 2 - TAB DON AND DENISE MAIDEN 366m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

Race 3 - WYNNUM HAULAGE NOVICE 366m

 

4 Rumbling Jack – Beaten favourite.  Stumbled shortly after the start.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

5 Up Beat – Dragged down by another runner and lost ground at the 250m mark. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

6 Destini Lucetta - Late scratching at 9:59am pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have an offside forelimb injury during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

Race 4 - AMJ ENGINEERING & FABRICATION BEST 8 366m

 

2 Hey Wags – Slow to begin.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 5 - SWOOSH FINANCE GRADE 5 (1) 366m

 

4 Wild Nuts – Dragged down by another runner and lost ground at the 200m mark.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 6 - GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM GRADE 5 (2) 366m

 

6 Jack Attack - Late scratching at 10:14am pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have an offside hindlimb injury during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

 

Race 7 - RACE REVOLUTION TIMING SYSTEMS GRADE 5 (1) 366m

 

2 Galway Duchess – Checked shortly after the start.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 8 - SENTENCED AT STUD GRADE 5 (2) 366m

 

9 Short Fuse - Late scratching at 9:08am pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have a nearside forelimb injury during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

 

Race 9 - ANNUAL PEST MANAGEMENT MIXED 4/5 366m

 

2 Too Much Scotch - Late scratching at 2:25pm pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to a near hind limb injury the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards will require a Veterinary certificate before any future nominations will be accepted.

 

Race 10 - ANNUAL PEST MANAGEMENT MIXED 4/5 366m
