Race 2 - WYNNUM HAULAGE MAIDEN 366m

1 Shimmering Light – Beaten favourite. Shifted out and bumped with another runner or several occasion throughout the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

8 Risky Business – Checked passing the 200m then became unbalanced and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 3 - AMJ ENGINEERING & FABRICATION MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 366m

3 Reuben Cotter – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed offside hind split webbing, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

1 Elusive Emma – Gave ground from the 200m and trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside pin injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

4 Sober Meredith – Gave ground from the 200m and trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a chest muscle injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

Race 7 - COM AV COMMUNICATIONS AUDIO VISUAL MIXED 4/5 366m

8 She’s On Time – Checked across heels approaching the 100m then gave ground and trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hip injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

Trainer Jeff Cumming stated that after receiving interference in today’s event he was happy with the greyhound’s performance, furthermore he did not support the greyhound. Stewards noted the submissions. A post-race urine sample was obtained.
