2. Batman Returns – At approximately the 250 metres took an awkward stride. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.
6. Nearest Exit - Turned in the boxes, taking no competitive part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings. Stewards invoked GAR106(1) turned in the boxes, the greyhound must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next.
8. Mally’s Boy – At approximately the 150 metres shifted in and took its attention away from the lure. Leaving the 100 metres shifted in, eased and turned his head towards the inside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Mick Pearce regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR124 Failing to pursue – 28 days stand down at Capalaba and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
