Race 4 - WYNNUM HAULAGE GRADE 6 366m

 

7 Blackpool Kola – Reared in the boxes at the start and as a result was very slow to begin. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

Race 5 - AMJ ENGINEERING & FABRICATION MA5 (1) 366m

 

7 Infra Terra – Bumped heavily with another runner shortly after the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

Race 6 - SWOOSH FINANCE GRADE 5 366m

 

3 Jimary Twitch – Took several awkward strides at box rise and as a result almost fell. Raced part of the race with a dislodged muzzle. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hamstrings and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

Race 7 - COM A.V. COMMS AUDIO VISUAL INSTALLS MIXED 4/5 366m

 

2 Star Assassin – (Beaten favourite) Bumped heavily with another runner on multiple occasions approaching the 200m.

 

4 Dino Way – Severely checked shortly after the start and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the off-hind back muscle and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days. The greyhound must trial prior to any future nomination being accepted. Trainer Mr Michael Lalicz advised Stewards he will retire Dino Way after today’s race.

 

Race 8 - RACE REVOLUTION TIMING SYSTEMS PATHWAYS FINAL 5PW 366m

 

4 Port For Sure – Took several awkward strides at box rise and as a result was very slow to begin. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

Race 9 - ANNUAL PEST MANAGEMENT GRADE 5 (1) 366m

Race 10 - WWW.ONTHECLOCK.COM.AU GRADE 5 (2) 366m

 

6 Sissy Maybelle – Visibly eased approaching the finishing line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Anne Clelland regarding the racing actions of the greyhound approaching the finishing line. After reviewing the video footage and hearing Mrs Clelland’s submissions, Stewards invoked GAR124 Failing to Pursue and stood down Sissy Maybelle for 28 days at Capalaba. The greyhound will need to pass a satisfactory trial prior to any future nomination being accepted.

 

Race 11 – TREVOR MCSHERRY CLASSIC MA5 (2) 366m

4 Class Of Twenty – Checked off heels shortly after the start and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
