Race 2 - CAPALABA CAR WORLD GRADE 6 (1) 366m

 

6 Little Kisses – Checked soon after the start, gave ground and trailed the field from the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside pin injury, the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

 

 

Race 3 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS GRADE 6 (2) 366m

Race 4 - WYNNUM HAULAGE GRADE 6 (3) 366m

Race 5 - AMJ ENGINEERING & FABRICATION GRADE 5 (1) 366m

 

7 Sarah Starfish - Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race.

 

 

Race 6 - SWOOSH FINANCE GRADE 5 (2) 366m

Race 7 - COM A.V. COMMS AUDIO VISUAL INSTALLS GRADE 5 366m

 

3 Haggler – Severely checked and fell approaching the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

 

Race 8 - RACE REVOLUTION TIMING SYSTEMS MIXED 4/5 366m  

 

9 Galway Garth – Gave ground and trailed the field from the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side hip injury the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

Showed signs of aggression in the catching pen. Acting under the provisions of GAR 131 Stewards advised trainer Sean Galloway the greyhound will now be required to wear an aggression muzzle in future events.

 

 

Race 9 - ANNUAL PEST MANAGEMENT GRADE 5 (3) 366m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

3 Tuta Knight - Showed signs of aggression in the catching pen. Acting under the provisions of GAR 131 Stewards advised trainers representative Lisa Druery the greyhound will now be required to wear an aggression muzzle in future events.

 

 

5 Goof Ball - Went up with the lids, checked soon after the start. Eased approaching the 200m and took no further part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed near side hind split webbing, the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

Steward’s spoke to trainer Drew Pearce regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to purse by reason of injury – 10 days stand down and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
