General: All clear was delayed for Race 6 to afford the Stewards the opportunity to view the films in relation to a bird on the track, after doing so Stewards were comfortable that no greyhound was affected and all clear was given on the judges numbers.

Race 1 - BET NATION MDNPW 366m

3 One Eye – Shortly after the start was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

4 Batman Returns – Approaching the 100m mark appeared awkward in its action and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

Race 2 - BETNATION.COM.AU MAIDEN 366m

6 Blue Fifty – Late scratching at 10:04am pursuant to GAR92(2) due to an injury to the offside foreleg paw pad. The greyhound has been stood down from racing for 10 days and will require a veterinary certificate prior to returning to racing.

8 Maywyn’s Mondeo – Shortly after the 200m mark turned its head inwards to the inside runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury. Stewards spoke to trainer representative A Watts regarding the greyhound actions. After considering all available evidence stewards invoked GAR124 Failing To Pursue – 28 days stand down at Capalaba and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.

8 Mum’s Tiger – Approaching the finishing post was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

4 Jimmy Giant – Late scratching at 10:00am pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to a nearside hindleg injury. The greyhound has been stood down from racing for 10 days. Stewards will require a Veterinary certificate before any future nominations will be accepted.
