4 Batman Returns – Became unbalanced and gave ground from the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

5 Pierre Hayze - Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race.

4 Shining Blue – Turned its head inwards towards another runner taking its attention away from the lure approaching the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hind spike wound, no stand down time was issued. Steward’s spoke to trainer Lynette Keep regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to purse by reason of injury – 0 day stand down and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Upon review of the race replay, after the All Clear was given, it was identified by the Stewards that the distance of the lure in the early stages of the event may have been in breach of the provisions of GAR 109. The matter has been referred to the Chief Steward for review.
7 Fire Ricochet – A post-race veterinary examination revealed near side front dew claw injury the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

2 Shelley Beach – Gave ground passing the 200m and trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side hind back muscle injury the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days and will need to complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
5 Swift Ethics – Checked soon after the start, gave ground from the 100m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside pin injury the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

5 Art Of Deception – Late scratching at 1.49pm on Vets advice after escaping from the handler on the way to the boxes and running for some time before being restrained.

Race 9 was delayed approximately 2 minutes after it was identified the lure was in the incorrect starting position for the race which was corrected prior to the greyhounds being boxed.
2 Green River – Faltered in its action approaching the 200m then gave ground and trailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside groin and a near side hip support injury the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

6 Diva Unleashed – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after flipping over on the way to the boxed and was passed fit to race.

6 Me And You – Checked at approximately the 300m, gave ground from the 200m. Stewards spoke to trainer David Bailey in regard to the greyhounds performance which he advised the greyhound will now be retired.
