9 Zabdon Miracle – Dragged down by another runner at the 150m losing considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. |

8 Specifically – Checked off heels and fell approaching the 100m, taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the lumbar and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days. |

3 Sir Wah Wah – Turned its head outwards towards another runner at the 300m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer’s representative Mr Billy Hutchinson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at the 300m. After reviewing the video footage and hearing Mr Hutchinson’s submissions, Stewards invoked GAR124 Failing to Pursue (1st offence) and stood down Sir Wah Wah for 28 days at Capalaba and the completion of a satisfactory trial. |
