Race 3 was delayed due to Gail Unleased requiring a pre-race vet check at the boxes.
3 Gail Unleashed - Underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race. Took an awkward stride approaching the 300m mark and commenced to give ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

2 Tempo And Touch - Late scratching at 10:16am pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to an injury, the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards will require a Veterinary certificate before any future nominations will be accepted.

2 Flyaway Jack – Underwent a pre-race veterinary check and was found to have an offside hindlimb injury. The greyhound was stood down for 3 days pursuant to GAR 92(2).
4 Two Tone Tommy - Late scratching at 10:40am pursuant to GAR 76(2) with Stewards Permission.
8 Cupola – Checked approaching the 250m mark and commenced to give ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. |
