3. Landman – Shortly after the start was checked. At approximately the 200 metres was checked. Approaching the 100 metres turned its head inwards towards the inside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside pin muscle injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Terry Medcalf regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR125 Failing to pursue by reason of injury 7 day stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
