GENERAL

 

 

Race 1 – Maiden Heat 1 431m

THIS TIME MADDIE was best to begin with the remainder evenly away.  Soon after the start NINA ROSE HI, BASIN BOGIE and HAZY GAZE all collided.  Entering the back straight STEP LIKE HAYNE and NAN’S NIRO collided forcing NAN’S NIRO wide in the back straight.  Entering the top turn HAZY GAZE checked off the heels of NAN’S NIRO causing NAN’S NIRO to drop back sharply.  In the home straight ROSDUE SPRITE was wide.

 

The greyhound NAN’S NIRO was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 2 – Maiden Heat 2 431m

RYLI’S MIA was best to begin with TIP YA CAP slowly away.  Entering the back straight MADDY’S RASCAL checked off the heels of IMMORTAL MARY.  In the back straight STELLA ROSE HI was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight TIP YA CAP checked off the heels of MADDY’S RASCAL causing MADDY’S RASCAL to shift out causing CYNO SPOT to check off MADDY’S RASCAL, causing CYNO SPOT to check ROSDUE JITTERBUG.  On the top turn STELLA ROSE HI was wide.  On the turn into the home straight ROSDUE JITTERBUG and STELLA ROSE HI collided with RYLI’S MIA wide.

 

Race 3 – Maiden Final 431m

NORDOC MAGIC and PREPARE YOURSELF were best to begin with HOSTESS WATKINS slowly away.  Entering the turn into the back straight NORDOC MAGIC and SEIZED ASSET collided causing SEIZED ASSET to shift out checking HOSTESS WATKINS.  In the back straight AZTEC FLASH checked off the heels of PREPARE YOURSELF causing PREPARE YOURSELF causing PREPARE YOURSELF to check SEIZED ASSET forcing these 2 greyhounds wide.  On the turn out of the back straight ROSDUE GOANNA checked off the heels of CYNO SNIP.  Entering the turn out of the back straight ELITE BLUE BOY and SEIZED ASSET collided, causing ELITE BLUE BOY to check off the heels of CYNO SNIP causing ELITE BLUE BOY to fall checking HOSTESS WATKINS.  Approaching the winning post AZTEC FLASH and NORDOC MAGIC raced tight and bumping.

 

The greyhound ELITE BLUE BOY was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near hind leg and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 4 – Novice 431m

REFUND REQUIRED and DEMOLITION JAZ were best to begin with MOONSTONE MAGIC slowly away.  Soon after the start REFUND REQUIRED and LAST SEINE collided.  Entering the back straight DEMOLITION JAZ and ROSCO BANG BANG collided causing ROSCO BANG BANG to drop checking GLENALLON ZULU, forcing DEMOLITION JAZ wide.  In the back straight DEMOLITION JAZ was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight GALWAY SUPERSTAR brushed the running rail.  In the home straight DUSTY WAY was wide.

 

Race 5 – 5th Grade 431m

ALPHA MIMOS was best to begin with DOOHAN TIME and KILTY JACK slowly away.  Soon after the start ALPHA MIMOS and SPRING RAYMOND collided causing SPRING RAYMOND to check MAGIC YESSAM.  Entering the back straight ALPHA MIMOS checked off the heels of MAGICAL YESSAM causing ALPHA MIMOS to check SPRING RAYMOND causing these 2 greyhounds to take no further competitive part in the event.  In the back straight and top turn ALPHA MIMOS was wide.  In the home straight KILTY JACK and ALPHA MIMOS were wide.

 

The greyhound ALPHA MIMOS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 6 – 5th Grade Heat 1 520m

SPRING MILLIE was best to begin with MOCHA LATTE and CYNO ROSE slowly away.  Soon after the start SOUTHERN FLOSS crossed checking THERE SHE WAS, who in turn checked GLENALLON RINGO.  On the turn out of the home straight MOCHA LATTE was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight THERE SHE WAS checked off the heels of CYNO ROSE.  In the home straight GLENALLON RINGO was wide.

 

Race 7 – 5th Grade Heat 2 520m

SHANAE’S MAGIC was best to begin with HER FAULT and KIKEM SPRINGER slowly away.  Approaching the winning post on the 1st occasion GATE SLINGER and MINI OREO collided.  On the turn out of the home straight KIKEM SPRINGER was wide.  In the back straight LONESOME DUK and GATE SLINGER were wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight MINI OREO checked off the heels of GIFTED ANGEL.  On the top turn GATE SLINGER was wide.

 

Race 8 – 4/5th Grade 431m

OUR MAGIC BOY was best to begin with the remainder evenly away.  Soon after the start HAY YOU BOY crossed and checked off the heels of STRIKE A DEAL.  In the back straight NORTHERNETTE was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight STRIKE A DEAL and HAY YOU BOY collided.  On the top turn TUKULA was wide.  Entering the home straight STRIKE A DEAL and TUKULA collided.  In the home straight TUKULA was wide.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade 431m

This race was delayed due to an interstate thoroughbred event.

 

SPRITE AND POWER and TWO BEERS were best to begin with MIRANDA ROSE HI slowly away.  Soon after the start PREMIER BEAR and PRATER’S PROBLEM collided.  Entering the back straight SPRITE AND POWER and PURELY PENNY collided causing PURELY PENNY to drop back checking PREMIER BEAR causing these 2 greyhounds to take no further competitive part in the event.  In the back straight PREMIER BEAR was wide.  In the home straight MIRANDA ROSE HI was wid.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade 431m

DRAGON DANCER was best to begin with the remainder evenly away.  Soon after the start BROTHER GLENN and BOURBON BENZ collided.  In the back straight TEETH GRIEF was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight BOURBON BENZ checked off the heels of HERE’S CHEERS forcing BOURBON BENZ wide on the top turn.  In the home straight TEETH GRIEF was wide.
