Best away was CAMPFIRE KID with BONNIE EILEEN slow away. Soon after the start ZABDON ZINGER and WILDASH DOLLY collide. Entering the back straight MITCHELL JOHN checked off the heels of CAMPFIRE KID causing MITCHELL JOHN to race wide in the back straight. In the home straight  FROSTY BLACK JAY was wide.

 

Race 2 – SKY RACING | MAIDEN | 520M

Best away was VELOCITY MELINKA with WHITE SWIRL and SHEER PASSION slowly away. On the turn out of the home straight and in the back straight PHANTOM DEE was wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight PHANTOM DEE and CHEWING SHOES collide. Entering the home straight PHANTOM DEE checked off the heels of WHITE SWIRL.

 

The greyhound PHANTOM DEE underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

Best away was STEAK SANDWHICH with BROKEN YOLK slowly away. Approaching the turn into the back straight ANGEL’S COMET checked off the heels of SUGAR BOY. Entering the back straight SUGAR BOY and WHATTA STORM collide. In the back straight GOTCHA SCOOTIN’ was wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight SUGAR BOY and BROKEN YOLK collide with ANGEL’S COMET checking off the heels of WHATTA STORM. In the home straight HIFI SHIAN was wide.

 

The greyhound ANGEL’S COMET underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hind and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 4 – GJ WALSH & CO | 5TH GRADE | 431M

Best away was FIRE TO RAIN with PAUA TO LAUNCH slowly away. In the back straight GALLON was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight BLACK SCORPION brushed the running rail. Entering the turn into the home straight BIG TURLS checked off heels of GLENREAGH SKUD. In the home straight GALLON was wide.

 

The greyhound BLACK SCIORPON underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the stomach muscle and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

Best away was PEBBLE BAY and SPRING REINA with DANYO’S LOZZA slowly away. Approaching the turn into the back straight PEBBLE BAY shifted out checking RICHMOND ROAD and SHE’S A SORT causing those two greyhounds to drop back. In the back straight and home straight PYRO BOB was wide.

Best away was GYPSY WILD with SUPER CETTE slowly away. Entering the turn out of the home straight NOT TOO BOSSY checked off the heels of FRIENDZ. On the turn out of the home straight SUPER CETTE and FIVE GALLON HAT collide. In the back straight SUPER CETTE was wide. In the home straight FRIENDZ and GYPSY WILD were racing tight and bumping.

Even start with CASH TRAIL slowly away. Entering the turn out of the home straight SURGENIE and AL BRUTON causing SURGENIE to shift out and checked CASH TRAIL causing CASH TRAIL to fall. In the back straight and home straight DARBY’s GIRL was wide.

Best away was RAPID EXPLOSION and AIM with FARMOR ON FIRE and ARNHEM HAYHEM slowly away. Entering the turn out of the back straight AIM, SHADOW COURT and DATA BASE all collide. On the turn out of the back straight DAISY DREAMS checked off the heels of AIM. Entering the home straight DATA BASE and KEY FACTOR collide. In the home straight DAISY DREAMS was wide.

Best away was WEEONA PEARL with DEBREE BONUS slowly away. Soon after the start INDIANA PRINCE, BONNE CHANCE and SPRING DAPHNE all collide. Entering the back straight INVICTUS CLIVE and SPRING DAPHNE collide. In the home straight DEBREE BONUS was wide.

Best away was KIA BE GOOD with BROTHER TREVOR slowly away. Entering the back straight MASTER DEAN and KIA BE GOOD collide causing MASTER DEAN to fall causing MASTER DEAN to check WILLY TOULA and NINPIN. In the back straight BROTHER TREVOR was wide. In the home straight DODGY ETHAN was wide.
