Other Comments / Explanations: the temperature exceeded 35degress so the heat policy was enforced.

 

Race 1 – Greyhound Adoption Program | Maiden Heat 1 | 431m

 

Even start, Fairytale Girl marginally slow. In the first turn, Invergarry Miss, Gotcha Gift and Spur On raced tight. Leaving the first turn, Gotcha Gift and Invergarry Miss collided. In the back straight, Spur On shifted out checking Corbourne Imogen. In the front straight Invergarry Miss raced wide.

Race 2 – Sky Racing | Maiden Heat 2 | 431m

Even start. Shortly after the start, Pop Singer and Tick Fire Boom bumped. In the first turn, Cawbourne Anson, Ladylike Grace, It All Cheeky and Yapper Bliss raced tight. Leaving the first turn, Ladylike Grace got into the hindquarters of Pop Singer. In the front straight, Yapper Bliss raced wide.

Race 3 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM | Maiden Final | 431m

Even start, with Burning Arrow and Ike’s Girl marginally slow. In the first turn, Where’s The Lady and Eye Liner collided. Reaching the turn into the back straight, Burning Arrow shifted out checking Eye Liner and Where’s The Lady, causing Earth Shake to be checked. In the back straight, Earth Shake raced wide. In the front straight, Immortal Man and Lightning Beach bumped. 

Race 4 – Alpha 390 Finance | Novice | 431m

Beau’s Image is best to begin. In the first turn, Mitchell John, RedeaL and Galway Wolfgang collided, causing Gitcha Destiny and Celtic Fear to be checked, causing all greyhounds to lose ground to different degrees. In the back straight, Style County and Galway Wolfgang bumped.

Race 5 – Dover & Sons | Grade 5 (1) | 431m

Even start. Entering the back straight, Dervando clipped heels. Approaching the finishing line, After Glow and Rosdue Misty raced tight.

Race 6 – Just Greyhound Photos | Grade 5 (2) | 431m

Even start, with Spring Ritchie slow. In the first turn, Vanderweghe and Alpha Hestia bumped. In the front straight, Spring Ritchie clipped heels.

Race 7 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM | Mixed 4/5 | 431m

Farcelona Fenix was best to begin. In the first turn, Hardaway Terror, Reactor and Blue Jillem collided resulting in Alpha Ulysses and Spring Festival to be checked.

BLUE JILLEM - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 8 – GJ Walsh & Co | Best 8 | 431m  

Ima Necromancer best to begin, with Cawbourne Bigred slow. At the first turn, Proper Gent clipped heels shifting out and checking Little Ach Cee and Daisy Dreams. Entering the back straight, Little Ach Cee and Cawbourne Bigred bumped.

 

CAWBOURNE BIGRED - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

 

Race 9 – WWW.IPSWICH GREYHOUNDS.COM | Grade 5 | 520M

Wildash Jazzy was best to begin. Shortly after the start, Wildash Jazzy eased and turned its head outwards, causing Bergari to be checked. In the first turn, Wildash Jazzy turned its head outwards making muzzle contact with Phantom Dee. Leaving the first turn, Phantom Dee and Wildash Jazzy collided, resulting in Stop The Image and Chippies to be checked. Approaching the turn into the front straight, Wildash Jazzy clipped heels.

 

WILDASH JAZZY - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near fore dew claw and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

 

WILDASH JAZZY-  was charged under R69 marring 1st offence, 28 days and 1 trial

Race 10 – Owner Of Year 2006 – Katrina Holmes | Grade 5 (3) | 431m  

Alpha Hymeh was best to begin. Oh She Glows, Wild Man and Doreas collided. Approaching the turn into the back straight, Wild Man clipped heels. In the back straight, Patche De Kahn and Lanark Blue bumped. In the top turn, Oh She Glows and Wild Man collided. Leaving the top turn, Patche De Kahn and Honey Be Good collided. Rounding the turn to the front straight, Wild Man clipped heels.

WILD MAN - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
