Race 1 - TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY MDNPW 431m

1 Donny Darcy – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Hampered through the first turn.

3 Auriga Lucille – Checked through the first turn.

4 National Cheer – Entering the back straight was checked off heels and lost ground.

5 Galway Avatar – Slow to begin. Hampered and lost ground leaving the first turn.

9 Dark Raider (2) – Began awkwardly and shifted in bumping another runner.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 431m

2 Oh My - Bumped with another runner shortly after jumping. Bumped with another runner through the first turn.

3 Tupelo Tommy - Slow to begin.

4 Patricia's Pride – Rounding the home turn bumped with another runner on several occasions. In the early part of the home straight was hampered.

6 Fire Fly Elvis – Entering the turn out of the back straight was severely checked and lost ground.

7 Light The Gas - Slow to begin. Through the first turn was bumped. 

9 Jackie’s Revenge (5) - Bumped with another runner shortly after jumping. Bumped with another runner through the first turn. Rounding the home turn bumped with another runner on several occasions

2 Hammer Drill – Best to begin.

4 Rather Snazzy – Bumped with another runner through the first turn.

5 Cockney Pride – Bumped with another runner through the first turn.

6 This Time Hayden – Through the first turn was bumped. Severely checked leaving the first turn.

7 Jayville Hope – Leaving the first turn stumbled, shifted out and lost ground. 

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS GRADE 5 (1) 431m

1 Spring Jasper – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed suitable to start. Slow to begin.

3 Super Normal – Bumped with another runner through the first turn. In the back straight was tightened for racing room and lost ground.

4 Main Exit - Slow to begin.

6 Rainbow Delight – Stumbled on jumping. Raced wide in the back straight.

7 Cawbourne Bonnie - Bumped with another runner through the first turn.

Race 5 - BEENLEIGH LEGAL GRADE 5 (2) 431m

1 Paua Of Bondi – Slow to begin. Rounding the turn out of the back straight was severely checked.

2 Orchestrate – Checked through the first turn.

4 Jaydo's Jet – Severely blundered rounding the turn out of the back straight and lost ground.

7 Riverboat Queen - Slow to begin. Bumped through the first turn and lost ground.

8 Dream A Lot - Slow to begin.

Following the running of this race, the track was downgraded to Slow.

1 It Ain't Len – In the back straight bumped with another runner.

6 Dynamic Bill – Slow to begin. Bumped shortly after the start. In the back straight was bumped by another runner.

7 Big Pom - Bumped shortly after the start. Entering the turn out of the back straight contacted heels and shifted out bumping another runner.

8 Lil Storm – Entering the turn out of the back straight was bumped and lost ground.

Race 7 - BODHI INK TATTOO GALLERY GRADE 5 520m

3 Johnny Hot Feet – Approaching the first turn checked across heels, shifted out, bumped heavily with another runner and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

5 Daphne Moo Moo – Approaching the first turn was severely checked and fell when the greyhound improved onto the fallen greyhound. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

8 Pokie Change – Rounding the home turn raced very wide when inconvenienced by fallen runners.

Due to inclement weather, prior to the running of Race 8 stewards inspected the track, and in particular a section rounding the turn out of the home straight. Upon inspection it was ascertained that this section of the track was unsuitable for racing and directed the club to undertake remedial work. This resulted in all races being put back one timeslot.

Following the IGRC’s remedial works and after consultation with the Ipswich Greyhound Racing Club and trainer representatives, Stewards again inspected the track and deemed it unsafe for racing. Subsequently, Stewards abandoned the remainder of the meeting at 5:12pm citing the state of the track, inclement weather and weather forecast for the evening.
