A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury sustained to the near-side hip and was stood down from racing for a period of 7 days.

7 Hammer Drill – Checked by another runner entering the back straight. Raced wide in the back straight.

1 Dr. Ted – Contacted another runner on the heels and was checked wide rounding the turn into the home straight and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

4 Come On Kenny – Took an awkward stride and checked with multiple runners entering the home straight and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury sustained to the off-hind leg and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days.

6 Expat Kitty Hawk – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Checked by another runner rounding the turn into the back straight.

6 Aston Atley – Hampered by another runner rounding the turn into the back straight and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer M. Campbell stated to stewards after the greyhound’s recent performance, and due to its age, he is looking at retiring the greyhound in the near future.
