RACE 1 - GREYHOUND OF THE YEAR - SPRING CLEO MAIDEN 2 431M

1 Cut And Run – Tightened after the start. Shifted out in the home straight making contact with another runner on a number of occasions.

2 Blue Sensation – Checked shortly after the start.

3 Speed Badke – Checked shortly after the start.

4 Major Look – Checked shortly after the start. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

5 Dandy Battler – Bumped rounding the first turn.

7 Federal Pearl – Checked shortly after the start.

8 Adventure Queen – Bumped in the home straight on a number of occasions. Checked over the concluding stages.

RACE 2 - OWNER OF THE YEAR - BOARD RACING SYN MAIDEN 2 520M

2 Dynamic Jean – Checked off heels rounding the turn out of the back straight. Bumped rounding the home turn.

4 Boxing On – Slow to begin. Tightened rounding the first turn.

5 Conan – Slow to begin. Checked rounding the first turn.

7 Floyd's Fury – Slow to begin. Checked and taken wider on the first turn.

8 Mohawk Mindy – Dragged down and was severely checked rounding the first turn. Bumped rounding the home turn.

RACE 3 - FEMALE TRAINER OF THE YEAR - PAULINE BYERS NOVICE 2 431M

1 Ferocious Shadow – Dragged down rounding the turn into the back straight.

5 Barefoot Diva – Checked shortly after the start. Checked rounding the turn into the back straight. Raced wide in the home straight.

6 My Name's Earl – Severely checked and fell rounding the turn into the back straight and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

7 Big Jim Buzz – Severely checked rounding the turn into the back straight.

8 Here's Bruce – Checked rounding the turn into the back straight. Checked off heels rounding the home turn.

RACE 4 - MALE TRAINER OF THE YEAR - PETER O'REILLY NOVICE 2 520M

2 Double Steel – Checked at the start. Checked off heels rounding the home turn.

3 Energetic Cloud – Bumped shortly after the start.

4 Wildash Sandy – Severely checked rounding the turn out of the back straight.

5 Sienna Sunrise – Raced wide in the back straight. Bumped rounding the home turn.

6 Calla Avatar – Tightened in the front straight. Checked  rounding the turn out of the back straight.

8 Master Pele – Bumped rounding the home turn.

9 Hara's Molly (7) – Bumped in the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its near side pin and was stood down from racing for ten (10) days.

2 Davey Fawner – Checked rounding the first turn. Raced wide in the back straight.

3 Street Cry – Slow to begin. Checked approaching the first turn.

4 Spring Sonic – Slow to begin. Checked approaching the first turn. Bumped rounding the home turn.

5 Just A Sort – Slow to begin. Checked rounding the first turn.

6 She's So Gnarley – Bumped rounding the home turn.

1 One Shot – Checked rounding the first turn. Checked rounding the turn into the back straight and lost ground and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its near hind gracilis tear (muscle insertion)  and was stood from racing for eight (8) weeks. The greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. 

2 Ron's Brother – Checked rounding the turn into the back straight.

3 Expat Kitty Hawk – Checked shortly after the start. Checked rounding the first turn.

4 Austrian Beauty – Checked shortly after the start.

5 Shinya – Bumped shortly after the start. Checked turning into the back straight.

6 Tough As Steel – Checked rounding the first turn.

8 Patricia's Pride – Checked rounding the first turn. Checked rounding the turn into the home straight.

RACE 8 - VINCE CURRY MEMORIAL (G3) FINAL MAIDEN 2 520M

1 Black Comanche – Checked shortly after the start. Dragged down and was severely checked rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained minor abrasions.

2 She's Sweet – Checked shortly after the start. Severely checked and fell rounding the first turn and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

5 Shipwreck – Bumped rounding the turn into the back straight.

6 Barefoot Rebel – Slow to begin. Severely checked rounding the first turn. Turned its head to the outside taking its attention away from the lure over the concluding stages of the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer J Thompson regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Barefoot Rebel was suspended from racing for twenty-eight (28) days at Ipswich pursuant to GAR69A(1) and must perform a satisfactory trial prior to racing next.

7 Tiki Bar – Checked rounding the first turn.

8 Hara's Herbie – Bumped rounding the turn into the back straight.

9 Hara's Skye (3) – Checked shortly after the start. Severely checked rounding the first turn. Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight.

4 Stay Warm Bear – Checked rounding the turn into the front straight. Lost ground rounding the turn into the back straight. Trailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its chest muscle and was stood down from racing for twenty-one (21) days.

6 Bella's Blessed – Severely checked rounding the turn into the back straight.

8 Oh My – Faltered in its action rounding the turn into the back straight and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its off side hock and was stood from racing for ninety (90) days. The greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. Trainer John Catton advised Stewards that he will take the greyhound to the Greenbank Veterinary Hospital for further assessment and treatment. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Racing Injury Review Panel.

RACE 10 - DOVER & SONS MIXED 4/5 2 431M

1 Pre Cruise – Galloped on rounding the turn out of the back straight.

3 Ringbark Road – Checked shortly after the start. Checked rounding the turn into the back straight. Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

6 Lucky Lance – Slow to begin. Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight.

7 Tequila Worm – Raced wide throughout.

RACE 12 – TAB GRADE 5 (2) 2 431M

1 Bold Hornet – Tightened rounding the first turn. Raced extremely wide rounding the turn into the home straight and as a result shied to avoid the fence on the outside. A warning was placed on the greyhound’s racing manners. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

3 Ringbark Storm – Slow to begin. Checked rounding the first turn.

5 Pamela's Girl – Checked rounding the first turn.

6 Stick Hunter – Checked rounding the first turn. Raced wide throughout.

8 Bailey – Raced wide throughout.
