3 My Bro Oreo – Checked rounding the first turn. Checked off heels in the early stages of the home straight.

4 Just Slick – Tightened shortly after the start. Severely checked and fell rounding the first turn. Trailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

6 Black Zircon – Slow to begin. Severely checked rounding the first turn and almost fell. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

7 Sunset Matilda – Checked rounding the first turn.

8 Par Five – Slow to begin. Inconvenienced rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its near side hip and was stood down from racing for seven (7) days.

RACE 2 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 (1) 288M

2 Cheeky Chaser – Severely checked rounding the first turn.

3 Maryann's Memory – Tightened shortly after the start. Inconvenienced rounding the first turn.

5 Aerobic System – Inconvenienced and severely checked rounding the first turn.

6 Catch Them Cutie – Severely checked and fell rounding the first turn and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained a catastrophic injury to its near side fore leg and was humanely euthanised. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Racing Injury Review Panel.

7 Train Station – Severely checked and fell rounding the first turn. Trailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

9 I'm Glad Too – Inconvenienced rounding the first turn.

6 Noaki Cruise – Checked rounding the first turn. Improved onto heels through the first turn. Bumped another runner rounding the turn into the home straight.

8 Two Spot Gamble – Checked shortly after the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its off side hock and was stood down from racing for twenty-one (21) days. Trainer’s representative B Taylor advised Stewards he would be taking the greyhound for further diagnostic assessment.

RACE 7 - GJ WALSH & CO MIXED 3/4 288M

1 Tracy's Shadow – Checked rounding the home turn. Checked across heels in the early stages of the home straight. Made heavy contact with the running rail in the catching pen. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its near fore leg and was stood down from racing for ten (10) days.

2 Double Ace – Checked rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its off side hock and was stood down from racing for ninety (90) days. The greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. Trainer K Boan advised Stewards that he will take the greyhound to the North Lakes Veterinary Hospital for further assessment and treatment. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Racing Injury Review Panel.

5 Drink Shandies – Checked rounding the first turn.

5 Centigram – Took the turn awkwardly and appeared injured. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its stomach muscle and was stood down from racing for fourteen (14) days.
