Race 1 - TAB MAKE A DATE WITH PLAY MAIDEN (1) 288m

1 Mikate – Checked approaching the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Darren Russell regarding the greyhound’s racing manners rounding the home turn and, in the home, straight. After viewing the video footage and considered submissions from the trainer, Stewards deemed the greyhound had turned its head outwards making contact with another runner. Therefore, Steward’s invoked GAR 123 marring 1st offence - 28 day stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

2 Rosdue Kodiak – Checked approaching the first turn.

4 No Personality – Checked approaching the first turn, marred by another runner on the home turn and in the home straight.

5 Waikarie Abby – Checked rounding the home turn.

8 Teragram's Star – Checked approaching the first turn, checked rounding the home turn.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN (2) 288m

1 Ayaya – Slow to begin.

2 Tiger Knight – Checked entering the home turn, checked rounding the home turn.

3 Levy Let Fly – Checked entering the home turn.

6 Spring Aster – Checked soon after the start, checked entering the home turn, checked rounding the home turn.

8 Spirit Fever – Checked entering the home turn, checked rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

4 Archie Boy – Checked rounding the first turn. Stewards spoke to trainer Chris Williams regarding the greyhound’s improved performance. Mr Williams stated that the greyhound had improved in its work and had trialed well, he also added the race conditions tonight had suited the greyhound. Stewards noted the explanation.

5 Imploding – Checked rounding the first turn, checked rounding the home turn.

6 Tiger Vision – Checked entering the back straight.

8 Rosdue Mia – Eased in the home straight and trailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Terrence Chapman regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After viewing the video replay and considered submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report, Stewards invoked GAR 124(1) Fail to Pursue 1st offence - 28 day stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

1 Willow's Axle – Checked rounding the first turn.

3 Have A Heart – Checked off heels in the front straight.

4 Blazing Smoke – Slow to begin.

Race 5 - ROWAN ANDERSON JOURNALIST NOVICE 431m

2 Zoom Zoom Zoe – Slow to begin.

3 Nando Quinn – Checked on the first turn, gave ground in the back straight and trailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an off side pin muscle injury, the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

4 Flying Phil – Checked across heels in the back straight.

5 Master Act – Checked on the first turn.

6 Samson's Delilah – Checked on the first turn.

8 Serene Way – Slow to begin, severely check on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
