Race 1 - EURO PUMPS MAIDEN 2 520m

1 King Wylde – Checked rounding the first turn.

2 Tumbling Dice - Checked rounding the first turn. Tuned its head outwards towards another runner in the home straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near side hip, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr C Brydon, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), Tumbling Dice was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury. The greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

3 Bellissimo Blue - Checked rounding the first turn.

4 Torque It Up – Checked rounding the first turn.

6 Our Plumber - Checked rounding the first turn.

7 Cheeky Chan – Checked rounding the first turn. Tailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. Underwent a second veterinary examination which revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near side fibula and was subsequently stood down for 10 days.

8 Raven Rose – Checked rounding the first turn.

Race 2 - GREYS4PETS NOVICE 2 520m

1 Willow's Pride – Dragged down from behind approaching the first turn. Checked rounding the first turn.

6 Midnight Ember – Checked shortly after the start. Checked rounding the first turn.

7 Akira – Bumped rounding the first turn.

8 Flying Megs – Bumped rounding the first turn. Checked entering the back straight.

Race 3 - M & K BUTCHERS NMW 3 630m

4 Paradise Five – Checked shortly after the start. Tightened for racing room and checked rounding the home turn.

Race 4 - LOCAL IPSWICH NEWS MIXED 3/4 2 431m

2 Werina Express – Checked rounding the first turn. Bumped with another runner entering the home straight.

3 Spring Luna – Checked entering the home straight.

4 Fernvale Rocket – Checked rounding the first turn. Checked approaching the top turn. Checked entering the home straight.

6 Quinine – Checked shortly after the start. Bumped with another runner entering the home straight.

7 Louie Luxe – Checked rounding the first turn.

Race 5 - CHRIS BRYDON RACING GRADE 5 2 520m

2 Where's The Pub – Checked entering the first turn.

3 Petite Swagger – Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mrs K Tribe regarding the racing manners of Petite Swagger over the concluding stages. After hearing evidence, viewing all the available race footage, and acting on their observations, Stewards could not be satisfied the greyhound had contravened any rule and therefore took no further action.

4 Whiskey Business – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

6 Coonamble Kid – Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

Race 6 - ROWAN ANDERSON JOURNALIST MIXED 4/5 2 520m

Stewards spoke to trainer C Brydon regarding Shaquille being presented to race in the incorrect rug. Mr C Brydon was issued a $100 fine acting under GAR 156(f)(ii) for being negligent in that he presented the greyhound with the incorrect rug.

2 Oxley Surround – Checked entering the first turn.

6 Emerald Eyes – Checked entering the first turn.

7 Lone Shadow – Checked in the back straight and again approaching the top turn.

Race 7 - CORPORATE SPRINT FINAL GRADE 5 3 431m

1 Speed Badke – Checked rounding the first turn. Checked in the back straight and again rounding the top turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the off fore dew claw and subsequently was stood down for 10 days.

2 Shrouded – Checked rounding the first turn.

3 Cheeky Willow – Checked rounding the home turn.

4 Dr. Libby – Checked rounding the first turn.

5 Godges – Checked rounding the home turn.

6 Born To Lead - Checked entering the home turn.

7 Miss Mel – Turned its head outwards towards another runner rounding the home turn. Stewards spoke to trainers representative Mr T Henzell regarding the greyhound’s racing manners rounding the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Miss Mel was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. The greyhound was suspended for 28 days at Ipswich and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 124, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Race 8 - TREMBATH TYRES 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 2 520m

The start of this race was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to a malfunction with the starting boxes, subsequently the race was a manual start.
