Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN 431m

1 Aperta – Checked entering the back straight. Turned its head inwards and made muzzle contact with another runner rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainers representative Ms Chole Muller regarding the greyhound’s racing manners rounding the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Aperta was charged with marring. Subsequently the greyhound was suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 123, before any future nomination will be accepted.

2 Tuta Grizzly – Checked in the first turn and again entering the back straight.

3 King Of Spades – Checked in the first turn. Gave ground over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. When questioned regarding the performance of the greyhound trainer Mr Shane Topping stated it was the greyhounds first start back over the 431m and is better suited to shorter distances. Going forward Mr Topping will look to place the greyhound in more suitable race distances.

4 King Wylde – Slow to begin.

5 Gary Said – Checked in the first turn.

6 Ringo Roller – Marred by another runner rounding the home turn

9 My Hassle – Checked in the first turn and again entering the back straight.

Race 2 - SKY RACING NOVICE 431m

2 Black Piper – Checked rounding the first turn.

3 All Vogue – Checked in the first turn.

4 Trinity Ann – Checked in the first turn. Made contact with the running rail in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

5 Bit Of Mischief – Checked entering the first turn. Checked off heels entering the home straight.

6 Full Of Cheek – Checked in the first turn.

8 Smooth Bren – Checked in the first turn.

Race 3 - DOVER & SONS MA5 (1) 431m

1 Spring Evie – Checked in the first turn. Made contact with the running rail in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

3 Despicable Josh – Checked in the first turn.

4 Yosemite Sam – Checked in the first turn and again approaching the back turn.

6 Bailey – Checked approaching the back straight.

7 Hooked On Xena – Checked in the back straight.

8 Pink Flyer – Slow to begin.

1 Consider Me Gone – Checked in the first turn.

3 Pound Down – Checked in the first turn.

4 Mama Said – Checked in the first turn.

7 Spring Lilli – Checked in the first turn. Checked approaching the top turn.

Race 5 - GREYHOUND GEAR MIXED 3/4 431m

4 Zack – Bumped in the first turn.

5 Springview Magic – Bumped in the first turn.

8 Farmor Millers – Checked rounding the home turn.

Race 6 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS GRADE 5 (1) 431m

2 Captivate – Checked in the first turn.

4 Smokey Chet – Bumped after the start.

6 Me And You – Bumped after the start.

Race 7 - CHASE NEWSPAPER GRADE 5 (2) 431m

2 Whispering Sadie – Declared a late scratching @ 1:29pm due to a weight variation. Trainer Mr Gregory Sternberg was issued a $100 fine under GAR101(3)(b) for presenting the greyhound with a weight variation.

6 Boxing On – Slow to begin.

7 Aerobic System – Checked rounding the first turn.

Race 8 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 431m

1 Where's The Ford – Checked in the back straight. Bumped with another runner approaching the finish line.

5 Galway Governor – Checked in the back straight. Bumped with another runner approaching the finish line.

7 Go Wild Ethan – Checked in the first turn. Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

8 Slick Suzie – Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

Race 9 -TAB MIXED 4/5 288m

2 Make Me Dizzy – Checked approaching the first turn.

3 Farmor Truth – Severely checked entering the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

4 Little Bit Tipsy – Checked shortly after the start.

5 Tempting Fate – Severely checked entering the first turn.

7 Destiny Duck – Improved onto heels, severely checked and fell entering the first turn. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained a catastrophic injury to the offside foreleg. Subsequently, Destiny Duck was humanely euthanised.
