5 Panama Power – Through the home turn was checked off heels. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injuries.

1 Disorderly – Entering the home straight was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injuries.

 

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS NOVICE (2) 431m

Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MIXED 3/4 431m

Race 6 - WEST MORETON PET FOODS MIXED 4/5 520m

 

1 Lula’s Ruby – Entering the back straight hit the running rail and lost significant ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injuries.

 

Race 7 - GREYHOUND GEAR NMW 520m

 

5 Becky Cairn Do – After the line was severely checked and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injuries.

 

7 Hara’s Olivia – After the line was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside wrist. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 10 days.

 

Race 8 - M & K BUTCHERS 4/5 GRADE FINAL MIXED 4/5 520m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

Race 9 - TREMBATH TYRES MIXED 4/5 431m

 

1 Stone Cold Blue – Entering the home turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injuries. Stewards spoke to trainer B Adams regarding the greyhound’s performance. He stated he had concerns with the greyhound on the home turn, however, believes that was due to the small spike wound he received during the event. Stewards took no further action against the greyhound.

 

Race 10 - TAB GRADE 5 (1) 431m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

Race 11 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 (2) 431m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

Race 12 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM GRADE 5 (3) 431m

 

1 Spring Tara – Beaten favourite. Through the first turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

 

2 Columbian Diva – Through the first turn was severely checked and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

 

8 Tarawi Minnie – Approaching the finish line turned and made head contact with the runner to the inside. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injuries. Steward’s spoke to trainer P O’Reilly regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring (3rd offence) – 28 days stand down at all tracks and must complete two satisfactory steward’s trials prior to racing next.
