4 Duelling Banjos – Faulted in its action approaching the top turn and took no further part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the off side hind leg and was subsequently stood down for 90 days. Further, the greyhound will be required to complete an injury trial prior to returning to racing.

 

Race 8 - CHASE NEWSPAPER 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 2 520m

 

2 Akubra Lad – Severely checked entering the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

 

5 Columbian Diva – Checked entering the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

 

Race 9 - GREYHOUND GEAR GRADE 5 2 520m

 

4 Booming Boo Boo – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near side hind leg and was subsequently stood down for 28 days. Further, the greyhound will be required to complete an injury trial prior to returning to racing.

 

Race 10 - M & K BUTCHERS 5PW 2 520m

 

5 Bomber Bar Cool – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near side hind toe and was subsequently stood down for 7 days.

 

Race 11 -SKY RACING MIXED 4/5 2 431m  

 

3 Tuta Duchess – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the off side hind leg and was subsequently stood down for 14 days.

 

Race 12 – TAB GRADE 5 (2) 2 431m

 

3 Handy Jimmy – Severely checked in the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near side wrist and was subsequently stood down for 7 days. Further, the greyhound was found to have an external parasite (flea) and will require a veterinary clearance prior to next racing.
