4 Marquee Player Turned its head away from the lure leaving the turn into the home straight.
Marquee Player underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured off fore pin muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainers representative M Stella regarding the greyhounds racing manners leaving the turn into the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Marquee Player was found in breach and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
