Dish Liquor – faltered in the early stages of the home straight and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a strain to the right shoulder. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards conducted an inspection of the track near the home turn and the early part of the front straight and deemed it suitable for racing. |

Federal Blue Boy – turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with another greyhound in the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Tarquin Neal regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the front straight. After considering all available evidence, Stewards advised Mr Neal that Federal Blue Boy’s is suspended from racing pursuant to GAR 123 for marring. As this is the greyhounds first offence it suspended at Q1 Lakeside for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory stewards trial prior to racing.
Goldstar Sally – turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with another greyhound over the concluding stages of the event. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Riley Evans regarding the greyhounds racing manners over the concluding stages. After considering all available evidence, Stewards advised Mr Evans that Goldstar Sally is suspended from racing pursuant to GAR 123 for marring. As this is the greyhounds first offence it suspended at Q1 Lakeside for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory stewards trial prior to racing. |
