2 Wife’s Furious – Checked off heels shortly after the start. Commenced to weaken approaching the home turn finishing the race tailed off last. Fell in the catching pen after the race had concluded. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Steward’s spoke to trainer Mr Ronald Newland regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mr Newland advised that due to not being able to gain a start, he placed the runner over 457m today. Mr Newland stated the greyhound will next race over 300m which he will be more suited to. Stewards noted the explanation. |
