Race 1 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE MAIDEN 457m

 

4 Hara’s Suzuki – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

6 Late Mate – Checked shortly after the start and took an awkward stride approaching the first turn.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 2 - LADBROKES SRM IN MULTIS GRADE 6 (1) 352m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

Race 3 - LADBROKES MATES MODE POTS GRADE 6 (2) 352m

 

2 Maps - Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 106(2)(a)

 

4 Cabarita Beach – Turned its head inwards on numerous occasions in the home straight and made muzzle contact.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer C.Muller regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring – 28 days stand down at Q1 Lakeside and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

7 On Any Day – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

Race 9 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY GRADE 5 457m

 

2 Two Tone Tommy – Checked through the first turn and commenced to give ground.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed a gastrointestinal condition and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days.
