8 Live Stream – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the nearside wrist and was subsequently stood down for 5 days.

1 Ares – Turned its head outwards towards another runner over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the offside back foot and was subsequently stood down for 3 days. Steward’s spoke to trainers representative B Dargusch regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to purse (2nd offence) – 28 days stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

2 Goldstar Pearl – Stewards spoke to Trainer R Evans regarding the greyhound’s pre-race parading manners. Mr Evans was reminded of GAR103(4) which states that a greyhound must not be carried or assisted to the starting boxes in future events.

 

Race 11 – ONE TURN RACING @ THE Q 5TH GRADE HEAT 6 GRADE 5 390m

Race 12 - LADBROKES ODDS SURGE MA5 390m

 

6 Noisy Capers – Commenced to give ground shortly after the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the offside stopper and was subsequently stood down for 14 days.
