6. Goldstar Bruiser – Entering the first turn was tightened and checked. Through the first turn was checked and turned sideways. Exiting the first turn turned its head outwards towards the outside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside wrist injury and was stood down from racing for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Riley Evans regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR125 Failing to pursue by reason of injury – 10 day stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |

2. Bug Me Not – Stewards spoke to trainer Peter Carleton regarding the greyhounds’ actions along the home straight. After reviewing all available evidence, the Stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that the greyhound had offended under any rules of racing, and no further action was taken.
4. Del Greco - Late scratching at 10:30am pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to Illness the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards will require a Veterinary certificate before any future nominations will be accepted.
6. Snowy Waugh - Late scratching at 4:19pm pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to the greyhound being on season, the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days. |
