4. Classic Kasey – Entering the first turn gave ground. Through the first turn was checked and then turned its head outwards towards the outside runner. Exiting the first turn took its attention away from the lure. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Kerry Hoggan regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR124 Failing to pursue – 28 days stand down at Q1 Lakeside and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
