1.Winning Edition – Shortly after the start commenced to weaken losing considerable ground appearing awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to offside groin. A 10 day stand down was imposed. |

3. Jonty’s Golden – Shortly after the start turned it head outwards deviating its attention away from the lure and towards the runner to its outside. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Steward’s spoke to trainer’s representative S Murdoch regarding the greyhound’s racing manners for that stage of the event. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 3rd offence, Jonty’s Golden was suspended from racing at all tracks for 3 months and until the successful completion of two satisfactory steward’s trials prior to racing next. |
