6 Royal Billy – Contacted the catching pen gate. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

 

Race 2 – QGOLD SUMMER DISTANCE FINAL OPEN C1 642m

Race 3 – MOWER CENTRE QGOLD VETERANS FINAL MA5 C1 457m

Race 4 – QGOLD BOLT FINAL OPEN C1 390m

 

7 Tuta Pebbles – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindleg toe. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 7 days.

 

Race 5 – ROSEWOOD VET QGOLD ROOKIES FINAL MIXED M/6 C1 457m

 

3 Rio Ragnar – Approaching the winning post turned its head inwards to the inside runner. Stewards spoke to trainer J Schmidt regarding the greyhounds’ actions.  After considering all available evidence stewards invoked GAR123 Marring – First Offence – 28 days stand down from racing and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.

 

Race 6 - MOWER CENTRE QGOLD EMERGING SPRINTERS FINAL OPEN C1 457m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

Race 7 - MOWER CENTRE QGOLD SUMMER CHASE FINAL OPEN C1 550m

 

5 Jay Walking – Through the back straight was tightened and checked. Through home turn was checked off heels. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

 

9 Hara’s Tim Tam – Through the home turn gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside pectoral. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 5 days.

 

Race 8 - QGOLD SUMMER SPRINT FINAL OPEN C1 457m

 

2 Super Scrub – Entering the home turn gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hip support. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 14 days.

 

Race 9 - QGOLD BLITZ FINAL OPEN C1 352m

 

2 Hope’s Zone – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared fit to race.

 

6 Quick Shot – Through the home turn was severely checked and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the back. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 5 days.
