General: Stewards opened an inquiry into the conduct of Mr Tom Tzouvelis and Mr Jeff Crawford at Queensland Greyhound Racing Club on Saturday, 3 January 2025. After taking evidence from Mr Tzouvelis, Mr Crawford and QRIC Official Ms Challen the inquiry was adjourned to a date and time to be fixed. |

Race 1 - LADBROKES ODDS SURGE GRADE 6 C1 457m |

|
3 Mr. Bookman – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen. The examination revealed an injury to the nearside forelimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.
6 Howdy Bill – Dislodged its muzzle and showed signs of aggression towards another runner in the catching pen. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the eye and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days. Acting under the provisions of GAR 131(d) Stewards advised trainer representative K.Elson that the greyhound will now be required to wear an aggression muzzle and have two catchers at future events. The greyhound must also complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next.

6 Wise Kevin - Underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.
