General: Stewards delayed the start of Race 1 by approximately two minutes due to storm activity in the area. Stewards were comfortably satisfied that the lightning strikes were outside the local area and safe for all animals and participants to commence racing.
Due to a sensor issue with the 550m boxes, Stewards ordered Races 4 & 5 to be started manually by the race day starting official.

2 Lumby – Severely checked rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a spike wound to the nearside hindleg and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days. |
