Race 2 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY GRADE 6 (1) 352m

7 Let Them Be – Through the home turn appeared awkward in its action and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside wrist. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 14 days.

Race 3 – THE LIDS FLY HOSTED POTS GRADE 6 (2) 352m

6 Goldstar Vogue – Through the home turn turned its head outwards to the outside runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative M Houtos regarding the greyhound’s actions. After considering all available evidence steward’s invoked GAR124 – Failing To Pursue – 2^nd Offence. The greyhound was stood down from racing for 28 days at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.

Race 4 – LADBROKES BIG BETS 6PW 390m

1 Jack And You – Entering the home turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside wrist. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 60 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.

2 Aston Athol – Through the home turn was checked and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside shoulder. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 14 days.

1 Maggie’s Song – Through the back straight contacted the running rail. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.
