Race 1 – LADBROKES BIG BETS MAIDEN (1) 457m

1 Miss Chebaibai – Slow to begin. Entering the turn out of the back straight gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hip support. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 10 days.

Race 2 – THE LIDS FLY HOSTED POTS MAIDEN (2) 457m

2 Scotch Bon Bons – Entering the turn out of the back straight was checked off heels. Through the home straight gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside pin muscle. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 14 days.

7 Cabarita Beach – Approaching the winning post turned its head outwards to the outside runner. Steward’s spoke to trainer C Muller regarding the greyhounds actions. After considering all available evidence steward’s invoked GAR124 – Failing to Pursue (2^nd Offence). The greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 28 days at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.
