8 Koala Claws – Checked entering the home turn, checked on the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side hind foot laceration, the greyhound has been stood down for 3 days.

 

 

Race 4 - ENGINEERING BY STP CONSULTANTS GRADE 6 (2) 352m

 

2 Radley – Checked soon after the start, severely checked on the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

3 Smash The Joker – Checked soon after the start, severely checked on the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 6 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 6 (1) 390m

Race 7 - LADBROKES BIG BETS GRADE 6 (2) 390m

 

3 Bubba’s Tyrant – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen which revealed a near side hind leg laceration, the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

 

 

Race 8 - SEN TRACK MIXED 5/6 550m

 

6 Tahitian Girl – Performed below market expectations. Checked in the back straight, gave ground in the home straight then bumped with another runner approaching the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Stewards spoke to trainer Andy Mulrine regarding the greyhound’s performance, Mr Mulrine stated that he believed the step up in distance today did not suit the greyhound and intents do drop back to 457m for the greyhound’s next start. Stewards noted the submissions.

Race 10 - GORSKI ENGINEERING GRADE 5 457m

 

1 Goldstar Joblin – Shifted out approaching the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Stewards spoke to trainers representative Stephen Evans regarding the greyhound’s actions approaching the winning post. After considering all available evidence, the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt if it had contravened any rule.

1 Bentley Olaf - Late scratching at 12.45pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) due to illness, the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.
