6 Tahitian Girl – Performed below market expectations. Checked in the back straight, gave ground in the home straight then bumped with another runner approaching the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Andy Mulrine regarding the greyhound’s performance, Mr Mulrine stated that he believed the step up in distance today did not suit the greyhound and intents do drop back to 457m for the greyhound’s next start. Stewards noted the submissions.

Stewards spoke to trainers representative Stephen Evans regarding the greyhound’s actions approaching the winning post. After considering all available evidence, the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt if it had contravened any rule.
