General: Stewards acknowledged at the start of Race 7 that the starter had waved to the lure driver but hadn’t activated the green starting light. The green light was then activated approximately 3 seconds later. Whilst the start of the race was delayed for a 3 second period, Stewards were comfortably satisfied that no runners chances were materially prejudiced and therefore declared all clear on the judge’s semaphored numbers.

1 Weblec Jewel – Took an awkward stride approaching the finishing line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed split webbing to the off-hind foot and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. |
