General: Stewards acknowledged at the start of Race 7 that the starter had waved to the lure driver but hadn’t activated the green starting light. The green light was then activated approximately 3 seconds later. Whilst the start of the race was delayed for a 3 second period, Stewards were comfortably satisfied that no runners chances were materially prejudiced and therefore declared all clear on the judge’s semaphored numbers.

Stewards acknowledged at the start of Race 7 that the starter had waved to the lure driver but hadn’t activated the green starting light. The green light was then activated approximately 3 seconds later. 3 Move It Georgia – Checked off heels rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a spike wound to the near-hind foot and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

 

Race 9 – LADBROKES FAST PAYOUTS MA5 390m

 

1 Weblec Jewel – Took an awkward stride approaching the finishing line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed split webbing to the off-hind foot and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

Race 10 – THE Q - ENGINEERED BY STP CONSULTANTS GRADE 5 (2) 390m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

Race 11 – GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 5 (3) 390m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

Race 12 – LADBROKES POPULAR SRM GRADE 5 (4) 390m

 

6 Lucky Red – Contacted the running rail rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

7 He’s Regal – Stewards were comfortably satisfied that the greyhound is no longer hard to box and therefore removed the Box First embargo from its gear.
